this was the first time jaemin woke up with the motivation to go to school, well, because of renjun. jaemin wasn't the type of person who'd fuss over his looks but today was different, he dressed himself well for renjun.

the only time he'd get to meet the senior was during dismissal time. he really just wanted this day to end to see the face of his precious happy crush. the moment he entered class, he couldn't wait for last period.

"good morning class! today, you're going to be having a surprise long quiz," the teacher announced. her face in a joyous state, loving the dead expressions her student showed her.

so much for a great day.

jaemin had already packed his bag and was just impatiently waiting for the two words escape mrs. kang's mouth.

he grabbed chenle who had just finished packing up and dashed through the hallways and out to the waiting area.

the pink haired male frantically searched for the chinese, his hand still gripped tightly on chenle.

chenle saw how obnoxious jaemin looked and tapped his shoulder. he pointed to the person in front of them and there they saw renjun.

it was now chenle's turn to grab jaemin and so he did and stood close to renjun and the person he was talking to.

jaemin felt conscious and forcefully walked a good few meters away his crush. he exhaled the breathe he didn't know he kept holding in earlier.

"I feel overwhelmed," jaemin said.

"no time to chitchat, he's already heading to our bus," chenle then walked with jaemin towards the said bus, walking behind renjun.

when the bus door opened, renjun turned his head and his eyes met jaemin's. he smiled once again before jaemin said his goodbye to his bestfriend.

jaemin could vividly remember how renjun's hands swayed in the air for him and how his soft smile was dedicated for jaemin only.

he loved how his day ended, again, because of renjun.
