After I pee, I notice immediately that this gas station hadn't been.. touched.

It was as if people forgot this pace existed.  I mean, I'm not complaining.  It just means more food for us.

But I do find it awfully weird.

I'm pulled out of my thoughts as Vi starts talking to me.

"Should we go for snacks or real food?"  She says, walking down an aisle, me following suite.

I ponder for a second, "well, maybe both.  Snacks for when we're traveling and real food for when we stop and rest."

Violet nods, "yeah that's smart," She turns and grins at me.  "Then lets start throwing stuff in our bags!"  She says excitedly.

I grin at her excitement and pull my bag to my front.  I unzip it and push the canned foods over, making room for the snacks.

I grab box by box of snacks, dumping the contents into my bag.

Beef jerky, rice krispy treats, air heads, gummy bears, and my all time favorite- Vienna sausages.

My stomach growled just looking at them in my bag.

When I rounded into the next aisle, I saw chocolate.  My mouth watered as I picked up the chocolate bar.

Looking at my options and the space in my bag I frowned.  "Oh come on! I would find chocolate when I have no space."  I huffed, trying to find a way to fix chocolate in.

Warmth engulfed my shoulder and I jumped, startled.

"Ah, Sorry i didn't mean to scare you."  I looked over my shoulder to see Connor standing there, he smiled at me.

"I noticed you staring at the chocolate, and I'm guessing you ran out of room?"  He said softly.

I nodded sadly and turned back to the chocolate.  The different bars looked so yummy.  Raspberry dark chocolate, Hershey chocolate, dark chocolate with peanut butter.

My mouth began watering and I picked up a raspberry one, unwrapping it in front of Connor and stuffing it into my mouth.

He raised an eyebrow at me, "I was gonna say, I have extra room in my bag if you wanna put some chocolate in there.  You can just get it out whenever."

I stared at him in surprise, slowly chewing my chocolate, my eyes began water and I nodded frantically.

I grabbed boxes of chocolate and started dumping them into his bag.

He laughed at my reaction and took the chocolate from my mouth, takin a bite out of it.

He looked surprised and took another bite.  "Wow- this is really go-"

I quickly snatched it back and thwacked him over the head.  "You ate my chocolate!!"  I yelled, hitting him again.

He grabbed my wrist to stop me and rolled his eyes.  "You have plenty, you'll be fine."

I shake my head, angry.  "No! It was my chocolate."  I huffed.

He grinned, snatching my chocolate back and quickly taking off in the opposite direction.

My mouth dropped open.

'Who does he think he is?'

I regain my focus and take off after him. I chased him aisle through aisle, dodging Vi in on aisle and Lucas down the drinks aisle.

Connor abruptly stopped in front of me, resulting in me slamming right into his back. He barley budged.

I rubbed my nose in irritation and peeled out from behind him to see why he stopped so suddenly.
