{Holly}

  Holly had been practicing her battle techniques when the sun started to set. She loved to see people die before her eyes, as she was kind of different. When she grew up, (as she was still only 8) she would like to join the cadet training and fight the beasts that threatened human population.

 On her ninth birthday in June, her father had gotten her a shiny iron sword. He realized this would make her dreams come true, even if her dreams were actually others' nightmares.  She practiced her skills every evening, getting better on accuracy every time. Once in a while, her Grandfather let her practice with his bow. She never missed a target with the compound bow. Her strength with a sword matched that of somebody 7 years older than her (a 16-year-old.)

  The basics of Holly are complicated, but mainly she can be described as a sweet uninnocent little girl that was very sure of her skills in acrobatics.

{Jay}

  Meanwhile, her friend Jay had been planning his own cadet training, also against the beasts. Since he was 4, Jay was very fast and loved wall-running. He decided to format a group for himself along with his two best friends. He called the group the Shadow Forge and the members in it Kill-dies. When he turned ten, in August, he began to start building the group base. It wasn't very good, but there was a practice stage, kitchen, bedrooms, and a meeting room.

{Talia}

   Talia was the other member of the Shadow Forge, along with Holly and Jay. She was turning ten today, on the first of December, as the second eldest of the Shadow Forge because Jay had been ten for a while. Today was the day she earned her necklace of wisdom, a part of her family that helped them fight and think.

  The necklace has a purple string with blood stains, and a flower inside of a green crystal. That crysal was quite small and the flower inside it was hardy smaller, there was only enough space for one of them. That flower crysatal, called the Emerald Primrose, had been imbued with magic to make the holder a greater, faster thinker. It had been in he family for many generations.
