Ch. 4 River & I

Kenadee's P.O.V.

I giggled as River tickled my bare sides. It's been 2 weeks since I've found out I was a wolf and 2 weeks since I've met River.

We were in my room and he was tickling me till the point where I thought I might pee my pants.

"Stop!", I gasped, "I can't breathe!"

He laughed and blew air onto my stomach and I screamed with laughter until I was rolled off the bed with him on top of me.

"Ompfffff, gett off of me, you big oaf!", I laughed.

He fake gasped,"Ms. Peter, are you calling me fat?!"

"Why yes, Mr. Saliber, I did!", I said and pushed him off me before running out of my room and down the hall.

"Oh you're gonna get it now!", he said before racing off after me.

I ran down the stairs and into the livingroom before I was tackled on to the couch.

I giggled as he pulled my arms above me head with one hand. With the other hand he rubbed my face softly. He looked into my eyes and leaned down. His lips brushed lightly against mine.

He let my arms go and I immediately  wound my fingers in his hair. I deepened the kiss. Our first kiss.

He slid his hand down to my neck and trailed his lips there too. I could feel him making love bites against my neck. I softly moaned.

"WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?!"

River and I pulled apart and he fell on to the floor.

I looked over to see Marcus. Oh crap.

"Um, hey Marcus...."

"Again, I say, WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!?!?!?!?!"

"Marcus, dude, we were just-", started Riv.

"Don't dude me! Just tell me what's going on!?!?"

"Marcus, we were just having fun. Relax!"

"Kenadee, I don't think River's Idea of fun is the same as yours!", he said looked at River expectantly.

River blushed which made me giggle and reach in for our second ever kiss. We were rudely interupted by Marcus' hand. Can you say party pooper?!

"Stop, Marcus! You kiss Suri, Marcus' sister, all the time in front of him!"

"Yes, I do! But we're 25. You're only seven-freakin'-teen years old!"

"So what Marcus! Get over it!"

"It's only natural for mates to kiss eachother, Marcus!", stated River,"And with my being an Alpha, he urge to always be holding or kissing my mate is stronger than it is with you and Suri and everyone else!"

"So what, River, you're 6 years older then her!"

"You're 23?!"", I asked, shocked.

"Yeah, baby, I am. I've been waiting for you for years!"

I blushed and kissed his cheek.

"You guys are gross! It's no use!", Marcus mummbled angrily before climbing the stairs.

River laughed and turned to face me. He looked into my eyes and said,"Kenababy, will you go on a date with me?"

Excitement came over me before reality set in. I frowned.

"I would love too", I spoke softly,"but I can't leave the house. I never have and if I did Marcus would have a fit!"

"I know, darling! But I've got a plan! I have this secret place that only I know about. It's hidden in the woods, so no one will see us! We'll run there in wolf form so no one will see you in human."

"Really!?", I shrieked.

He chuckled and hugged me. "Yes, love", he whispered in my ear, "We just have to clear it with Marcus."

I frowned and pulled away.

"I guess were not going", I whispered softly,"Marcus will never let that happen!"

"It's okay, I'l get him to understand and say yes! i'll be right back. Don't go anywhere!" he smirked and wiggled his eyebrows.

I giggled, but it was forced. Marcus wilnever agree to this.

River began walking up the stairs. Just as he put his foot on the third step, Marcus came barreling down the stairs knocking River over.

"Don't even bother, River! You're not taking her anywhere! It's too risky and she's my baby sister!"

"Marc-", River started, but was interrupted.

"Shut up! I said no! Don't argue with me!" Marcus said angrily and stomped his foot like a little girl.

I would have laughed if this was any other situation.

"Marcus!", I yelled, "Shush and let River speak!"

Everything went quiet and Marcus and River's jaw's dropped, but that didn't stop me.

"Stop being such an annoying, overprotective bafoon of a brother! I am tired of listening to your whining! Just SHUT UP!"

Silence.

That's all that I heard.

"Go ahead now, River! I stopped Marcus, so speak please!", I yelled annoyed that they just stood there gaping at me.

"Y-y-you'r-re e-eyes!", River stammered.

"My what? Come on River, just talk to Marcus already"

"The-their gold!", Marcus said.

"Come on guy's, now's not the time to be fooling around! This is serious stuff!"

"No, Kena, seriously! You're eyes! Their gold!"

I was confused. What are they doing?! Are they trying to get me angry!?

I stomped off into the bathroom.

I looked in the mirror and stopped. My eyes were most definitely gold. And my skin all of a sudden felt all tingly.All at once beautiful markings that appeared to be tattoos ran from my neck down my arms and up my chest and down my back. Swirling black patterns. I gasped and then it felt as if the world was spinning.

Then I blacked out.
