I looked at him with ridicule. "I only have one super power."
"Telekinesis?" I nodded at him and floated to sit on the sofa.
"I've read all the comic books, do you have some more?" Now, it was his time to look at me, ridiculously.
"Done reading every book?" I mentally rolled my eyes. "Nope, I just said I've read them all, I wasn't finished."
"Oh?" He picked up the books and left the house. Finally some peace and quiet again. "By the way, I met someone new at our school."
I just looked at him, uninterested.
He smiled and left to go home.
His house is just across my house. Weirdly enough, my room is located near my garden. I have a balcony but I rarely hang out there. I was afraid of bugs that might ruin my skin and most of all, I love my room so much.
"Anyone here?" I scrunched my face when I heard an unfamiliar voice.
"Byron, it's Kari Saige." Who?
Since, I'm only seen by Byron, I have no worries to look at the person who suddenly intruded my place.
"Kari, this isn't my house." It was Byron who told her off.
"Oh? My bad." She looked around some more and almost dragged Byron out of here. I almost laughed at his expression.
"Uhm, Kari, will you please wait for me, at my home?" Kari smiled and tilted her head with cutesy.
"Okay, oppa." That made Byron's eyes grow large. "Oppa?"
"She meant older brother, it's Korean term for addressing elder boys. I guess you're her oppa now?"
"Hahaha! But we're the same age."
He scratched his head. "Here, some more comic books."
I received the books and put them on my coffee table. "Was she the one who you met?"
He nodded, "Yeah, she's a transferee from Hyrule Academy."
I lifted my eyebrows. "Oh? Why'd she transfer to your school?"
He suddenly became red. Well, his face colored red all over.
"She said, that she has someone, she likes." I licked my lips.
"It's you?" And as if his face cannot get any redder, "Yeah."
"Hahahahahahaha! Love, you're becoming a young man already?"
I almost felt my tummy ache from laughter, but I remembered I'm a ghost already. And ghost don't feel anymore.
I think my soul only feels drawn in staying here because of Byron's wish.
"Aren't you jealous, Lady?" I stopped laughing.
"Why would I be that petty?" Jealous his face. "Lady, you were my girlfriend when you were still alive."
I puffed air out my nose. "What? Was I informed?" He looked at me with pleading eyes.
"Fine, fine, I was your girlfriend or whatever, to me you'll always the one who got away."
His eyes sparkled, "Really?"
I hissed at him, "You silly guy, am I that corny to you?"
He just looked at me. Boys and their common sense!
"Just leave and go to Kari already, never make a girl wait too long."
He looked at his feet. "Will you be okay on your own?"
"Of course, why wouldn't I?" I boasted.
"Then, I'll leave, see you tomorrow, Lady." As he was walking away from my house, he looked back.
"No matter who the woman is, you're still the one, I'll be with until I die."
I opened my mouth but I didn't say anything. I closed my front door and floated to my room.
"You're a babo, Byre."
I folded my legs and face my knees.
RaqyBer's final note:
Hello reader/s! You may call me Raqstar, Raqy or Qara.
Btw, whoever is reading this part, may you read my other stories or not.
It's up to you.
These are 10 things about me:
I am a proud Leo.
I am at my late 20s.
I started writing since I accidentally jabbed the Create button.
I am not a professional writer.
I write because I want to leave an online footprint of my creative ideas.
I write for myself. In the future if my works hit it off, I guess I won't really pay attention to fame.
To me, I'm just fortunate enough to share my story-telling skills.
I started journal writing when I was 7.
Maybe that really honed my writing abilities.
Journal writing was my greatest stress reliever and it was my way of coping how the world is unfair.
Right now, I'm at the point of my life wherein, I'm already over being hesitant(still working on my hesitation fits), running away from what I'm supposed to be, and leaving the toxic in the past.
I'm at ease and not chasing attention anymore.
I can always make anyone pay attention, whenever I feel like it.
So that's all for now, thanks for the support and for reading my story.
I update everyday but it depends on what story. 😉
