Chapter Four.

(Chapter 4: Distance and Distractions part 2)

POV. MIA

It's already 3am in the morning and still I can't sleep. I look at Cassie who's fast a sleep.  I got up from the bed and went outside for some fresh air. While I was Walking I look at the sky and stair at the stars wondering if I was a tomato. I laughed at myself and shook my head. While I was strolling I come across a small playground. I sat one of the swing and enjoy the beautiful stary night. I inhaled the fresh air. It felt nice and refreshing.

"I should get back before Cassie wake up and finding me gone she will freak out." I said to myself but I wasn't expecting someone will answer back.

"What's the rush you just got here." A man voice  respond at the back of my head.

I got up but my foot is really a traitor of mine. I stumbled down and try to crawl away from this creep. But he grab my ankle and flip me over now I'm facing him his wearing a bullcap and a face mask so I can't really see his face.

"What's wrong sweetheart." He crawl on top of me and he was about to touch my breast when.

"BOGSH!!" He fell on top of me. My hole body freez and I couldn't move a muscle. The guy that hit him in the head roll the guy over now his beside me. I cried and start to panic when the other guy hold my shoulder.

"Please don't hurt me. Please" I beg to him then he removed his hat and to my surprise. It's the person I least expected to help me. After seeing those hazel green eyes my tears start to poured more. I see his got a little panic but he it changed and become soft and worried.

"It's okay Im here." He held my hand and gently squeez it. He help me got up but I trip and almost fell but he catche me and hold my waist for support. He help me sit in the nearest bench. He was about to let go of my hand but I hold it tightly.

"Please don't leave me." He was taken a back but he just smile and nod.

"Don't worry. I was just going to call a police." He held my hand while he was talking to the police. After several minutes the cops arrived and arrest the guy who almost rape me.

"Miss Renaldi we could give you a ride home if you want" The female cop said with an assuring smile that she's saying I could trust her but I refuse.

" No its okay your officer. Im good" She nodded and take their leave. Zion look at me and a but to say something but he just close his mouth.

"Can you take me home instead." I said to him."Please" then I look at his eyes but he avoid my gaze.

"Sure" He said then he walk first but he was startled when I grab his hand.

"Can I hold your hand until we get to my street." He nod and held my hand. Then we walk to Cassie's place.

After a few blocks I already saw Cassie's house then I felt I like I been holding my breath all the way here and my knees finally gave in.

"Hey are you okay? What happen?" He said he swat himself so we are level to each other. I look at him and smile.

"Thank you for walking me home. I was scared that I thought someone might be still following us. But when I finally saw My friends house I felt relieved and some how my body felt drain." I said to him. He just look at me and like he was figuring me out but he shook his head and stand up.

"I guess you can go by yourself now." He said coldly. His aura change in 0.2 second like he was all caring now his like he doesn't care even if I got hit by a car. "I'll be taking my leave now." then he left me without even giving me a glance.

"MIA!!!" I look to the person who was screaming my name and its Cassie. "WHAT THE FUCK! WHERE DID YOU GO?  DID YOU KNOW I WAS FUCKING WORRIED THAT YOU MIGHT GET HURT?" While she was lecturing me. She hug me and when I felt her warm I cry into her arms and she patted my back.

"Cassie I was so scared. I thought I was never gone see you again. I'm really sorry." I heard her sobbing to. She's crying. My sweet best friend. Im so lucky to have her.

"You stupid bitch you got me worry! I hate you!" She said and slap me on the shoulder. "Let's go home." She help me get up and we start walking to her house. If someone was looking at us a moment ago we where like doing a drama or a movie.

What a Crazy night.

🍒🍒🍒🍒 POV. ZION 🍒🍒🍒🍒

"I'm going for a jog nana don't be up to late." I said to my nana. She's my maid since I could remember because my parents are always out of town on a business trip.

"Okay. Be careful outside. There's alot of bad people lurking in the night." She said and I just nod.

I was jogging and its really dark outside. They should really fixed those street light. While I was jogging I saw a playground and woman who is crawling and a man that is standing behind the swing.

Wait is he hurting her?

I come running behind the bushes so the guy wont see me. When I got even closer I saw the man grab her ankle and flipped her over I couldn't see their faces the only light is the moon and when I got even closer. I was shock seeing her face but I saw her face and she was not even saying anything. I grab a piece of wood and went to the back of the man. He was about to touch her but I hit the back of his head that made him unconscious and lay on top of her.
Her face is pale as white. I rolled over the guy and help her got up but she panic and trying to smack my hands away.

"Please don't hurt me. Please" She beg to me. I guess he doesn't now it's me. I removed my hat and then she stair at me. After she see my face. Tears start to poured more. I tap her back and she sob.

"It's okay Im here."I said to her. I held her small and soft hand and gently squeez it. I help her got up but I guess she don't have the strength for it because she trip and almost fell but I catch her and hold her waist for support. I place her to the nearest bench so she could calm her nerves. I was going to let go of her hand but I was shock when she hold it tightly.

"Please don't leave me." I was taken a back but I just smile and nod.

After a few blocks. I see her sat down and heard her sob. I was shock that she just sat down.

"Hey are you okay? What happen?" I said I swat myself so we are level to each other. I look at her.

She said to me and smile. I look at her and trying to read her because how can she smile after that incident. I was figuring her out but I just shook my head and stand up. This is so not like me.

"I guess you can go by yourself now." I said coldly. " I'll be taking my leave now." then I left Her without even giving her a glance.

When I got a little faraway from where she is I hide at the back of a car and look if she's okay.  There's a girl running towards her and hug her. Somehow I felt relieved. I don't know why I felt that. It's confused me. After seeing her that she's walking to her friends home I take my leave and start to jog home.

Wow what a night.
