Chapter Four||Mean Boy

Things had been running smoothly for me at school. Everyone was pretty happy. Well... there was one bump on my otherwise flat road;

He thought that me and Hajime liked him but we were only his friend for self defense. After all, he was a bully to almost everyone in our year especially Mitsume. No one could stand his behavior but no one had the guts or wits to take a stand against him. Even Teruya the most popular kid in school once got tied up and locked in the storage closet. His dad is the principal as well so he never gets in trouble! It's not fair! If we don't act soon it won't be long before he dumps a barrel of blood on someone's head!

Oh no! He's here! He just slapped Kanata's books out of her hands! How cruel... huh?! Shinji is talking to him?! 

"You can't just do that Mikado! Kanata didn't do anything!"

"I shall do whatever I want, mister Kasai. Go away you imbecile!"

He slapped Shinji square in the face, forcing him to back down. I knew he would fight back if he could but... well... like I said... Mr.Sanoji is the principal. 

"M-Mikado... maybe you, uh, should stop..." My dear friend Makunouchi harped in. His words were complied with a backhand to the face.

"I am in charge, understand me you curr!"

I wanted to assist my friend but I just... I couldn't... That's when I saw her... Kokoro approached Mikado. She...She said...

"I'd give you a nasty look but... you already have one...!"He recoiled.

"Yeah... a-at least I actually put in an effort with my appearance!" and she responded calmly with;

"Sorry... was I meant to be offended? The only thing offending me is your face." By this point there was an entire audience watching Kokoro verbally destroy him. 

"I-I will tell my father about this!"

"Mikado... your family tree must be a cactus because everyone on it is a prick."

He stormed off and Hajime lifted Kokoro up.

"Three cheers for the saviour, Kokoro Mitsume!!"

Everyone was cheering even. Even Rei and Mikako and they normally kept to themselves. That's why they're the best couple in school. 

                                                                     Soon it was Lunch time and I was in the cafeteria. We were at a table with the same people, at this point it had become a daily thing that Me, Kokoro, Teruya, Nikkei, Hajime, Setsuka and Hibiki would sit at the same table. Sometimes Sora and Yoruko would join us but today they didn't. We were just eating our lunches when suddenly, Sora stood up on the table!

"Hey, everyone! In celebration of Mikado's brutal defeat today we're having a beach party! It's on saturday so make sure you guys arrive on time!!!"
