~2 days later~

Jungkook woke up softly to a warm feeling overcoming his face.
"Baby... wake... up." Taehyung said between pecks, kissing his boyfriend's face all over. Jungkook opened his eyes and smiled, before taking Tae's face in his large hands and guiding Taehyung's lips to his own, connecting then. Tae then sat up and raised an eyebrow at him, while Jungkook smiled cheekily.
"Now that's how I want to be woken up." Jungkook chuckled in a low voice while smirking, and Taehyung smiled at him.

After a week's holiday, today they were both back at work. Taehyung had officially moved into Jungkook's large and now not-so-empty house, and Jungkook was already acting in a happier mood than he used to. Although it would be their first day back after a short holiday, work as a firefighter or a policeman was always full-on from the start, and so they woke up early so that they were ready. They got changed into their uniforms, and Jungkook offered to make Tae's favourite breakfast again. Pancakes.

"Tae! Pancakes are ready!" Jungkook called from the kitchen.
"I have the perfect boyfriend." Tae sang as he made his way into the kitchen, earning a giggle from the younger as he gleefully sat down at the table. They ate happily, joking together about all the fun they'd had the past week, and making fun of each other. Taehyung glanced at his watch, and signalled at Kookie that they should get a move on so that they weren't late for work.

Taehyung decided to be the one to drive this morning, which Jungkook was grateful for because he had misplaced his car keys.
"You would always lose your locker key back in school. I see nothing's changed." Taehyung laughed, shaking his head as Jungkook got in the car next to him.
"Ah, I guess you're right." Jungkook chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck embarrassedly. Once they reached the police station, they were greeted by Hobi.

"Hey guys! It's so good to see you again." Hobi said cheerfully, and they both stepped out of the car to hug him and greet him.
"I've missed you Hobi." Jungkook said, smiling at his friend. Hobi smiled back.
"Where did you guys go anyway? I knew you were going on holiday, but I never heard where." Hobi asked curiously.
"We went to Japan. It was amazing." Taehyung said, and Jungkook smiled back at him.

"Japan?! Wow! You must show me pictures and tell me everything Jungkook." Hobi said, ready to go back inside for work, but suddenly he stopped.
"Oh! I forgot to say. This police branch and your fire services branch have partnered, so in big jobs it will always be us going with you, or vice versa." Hobi announced. This made Taehyung happy, because he would get to work with Jungkook more often.

"Ah that's good! Okay, I should get going now. Bye bunny." Taehyung said, pecking Jungkook's cheek, and Hobi smiled.
"Cute." He muttered, and Jungkook hit him while chuckling as they made their way inside and said goodbye to Tae. Taehyung got back into his car and drove to his work. He was super excited to see Jimin and tell him everything.

"Taebear!" Jimin shouted excitedly, running towards Taehyung the moment he stepped out of his car, jumping on him.
"Hello Chim, how was your holiday?." Taehyung chuckled, hugging his best friend.
"Amazing! I got to spend the whole time with Yoongi, and he talked to me a lot more so I'm happy. I've missed you dammit. How was Japan?" Jimin said with a smile.
"Saying it was great would be an understatement." Taehyung said, grinning.

"Let's get inside, and then I need details." Jimin giggled as they both went in. As they both entered, the others who were already there greeted them with a smile.
"Hey look who it is! How was your holiday?" Kyungsoo asked them, smiling.
"Brilliant." Jimin and Taehyung replied in unison. They all laughed a bit, before settling down and preparing for any incoming missions. Yet it wasn't long until a call came in. Mr Min came in on the phone, and immediately called for his attention.
