Random Encounter

Chapter 24 - Saying Goodbye.

A week had passed since Robert and I returned from our amazing holiday. We had returned to my student house as soon as we landed. The whole week was spent packing, sorting and organising everything I owned. It felt very odd to be putting everything I owned in this world into boxes. You don’t tend to think your life can be packed up and shipped but it can, with surprise ease.

The day was now Friday and we had finally finished packing everything. For the last two days we had been staying in a hotel wear my house in order to get my house completely stripped and ready to hand back to the landlord.

“Maria?” Robert said as I woke up next to him and felt his arms wrapping around me.

“Yes?” I replied.

“I have an idea.”

“Ohh do tell.”

He suddenly sits up from pure excitement. God he’s cute sometimes.  

“How about we have a relaxing day today? I thought we could do with it after all this work getting your house sorted.”

“I think that sounds like a wonderful idea.”

“So what is to be involved in this relaxing day?” I asked while we both get out of bed and head to the bathroom.

“Well as this is week has been hard on you, I think you should choose my dear.”

“Hum I think I would like that, and I know just what to do.” I give him a cheeky wink as I leave the room, letting him slip into the shower and get ready. I make some calls and plan our day. I was thinking as this would be the last time I was going to be in this country for a while I should use the time left here to see some sights I am going to miss. Then an idea hit me, a complete surprise that I knew Rob would love.

“Lovey!?” I shouted to him while he was still in the shower.

“Yeah?”

“I’m just going to pop out for a moment, be back in a minute.”

“Okay!” He replies from the muffles of the bathroom.

I slip out of the hotel room into the vast corridor and down to the underground parking and located Robert’s car, unlocked it and sat in the driver’s seat. I took out the satnav and programmed in a lovely little town in the Welsh hills. My idea was we could have a walk on top of this lovely mountain then drive down into the village and have some lunch and visit the spa at this amazing hotel located seemingly in the middle of nowhere. I think that’s the thing I am going to miss most about leaving, the countryside views. Once done I quickly made my way back up to the room and found Robert wearing just a towel. It took a lot of self-control not to drag him back into that shower with me and I was doing just fine until he hugged me from behind and I could feel him pressed up against me. Feeling his muscles flex as he hugged me tighter was like torture, torture that I could no longer stand. I dragged him by his towel back into the shower.

Once we had finally gotten ready we were making our way down to the car ready to start our day.

“So what do you have planned for us my lovely?” Robert asked.

“Hum I don’t know if you deserve to know.” I say teasing him.

He suddenly presses himself up against me. I was stuck between his car and his body and I loved it. He kisses surprised me in the way were it’s not hard and forceful as expected but soft and yet more torture. We finally break apart and re-focus on the world around us.

“You were saying?” Robert says while raising a single eyebrow.

I give him a pretend annoyed look and just get into the car, he follows, starts the car and follows the instructions the satnav begins to give. I just sit there felling relatively proud of myself for planning this so efficiently.
