My Best Friend Is In Love With Me? (KJ Apa fanfic)

Chapter 1

Kayla's POV:
Today is the first day of senior year. And it's currently 5:40 in the morning and I am getting ready to go pick up my best friend Keneti James or as I like to call him KJ.

I grab my keys off of the kitchen counter and say bye to my mom, dad, and cat named beans. Now I'm off to pick up my best friend.

I finally get to his house and I text him:

Kayla: Get yo ass out here!!!!

KJ💯❤️: Ok chilllllll lol

He finally gets into the car and says "nice car" I say "you were there when I got it my dude you literally helped me pick it out" and he says "yeah I know but still it's dope".

My car is a 2019 Dodge Charger SXT AWD and it has a grey body and black rims and black hood. I got it for my birthday and I am completely in love with it. It's like my child.

While we were heading to school we were blasting Truth Hurts by Lizzo. It was hilarious because KJ was singing along too.

When we get to the school he says "we are some bad ass bitches" and I couldn't stop myself from laughing.

As soon as we got inside we went to go get our schedules. Thankfully me and him have all of the same classes. This year is going to be so fun.

KJ's POV:
I'm so happy we have all of the same classes. This year is going to be awesome.

We head to home room and we both sit in the back like the cool kids we are. I looked over and I see that Kayla is staring at Jeremy Gilbert (if you know who he is then we should definitely be friends) and he was staring back at her. Then he passed her a note. It had his number on it. He winked at her and then turns back around.

The teacher told us to go up to her desk,  grab a lock and the combination that unlocks it, and then go pick a locker when she calls our row. Jeremy and Kayla were in the same row so they went up together. The teacher whose name is Ms. Peroni, then called my row but when I got out there Kayla had her locker right next to Jeremy's. But the locker next to hers wasn't taken so I took it.

We all went back to the classroom. About five minutes later the bell rang for 1st period. So with that we were off to pre calc. As soon as we get to the room we sit all the way in the back.

The teachers name is Mr. Cammet. His class wasn't too bad but Kayla and I were passing notes most of the time though. The things he was teaching was pretty easy. Of course we took notes and everything. The bell rang and it was time for 3rd period because we had a double block for math.

Soon enough it was lunch time.

We sat down and started talking when Jeremy comes over. He sits down and says "so I'm having a party at my house today and wanted to know if you guys wanted to come" before I could say anything Kayla says "yeah we will definitely be there" and then he says "awesome it starts at 8 see you both then". He goes back to the table he was originally at turns around and winks at Kayla then turns back around.

Kayla turns to me says "I heard he throws the best parties" I say "yea I heard that too". Honestly I hadn't heard that. She looks so happy and it's adorable.

I have a feeling something bad is going to happen at the party.

Kayla's POV:
When I got home I asked my mom if I could go to a party with KJ and she said yes and just to be safe.

So I went up to my room and started to get ready. It took me like an hour or so. I'm not like other girls who take 3 hours to get ready.

I text KJ:

Kayla: Yo are you ready yet my dude???

KJ💯❤️: Bish I've been ready

Kayla: Don't cop an attitude with me

KJ💯❤️: Lol see you soon

Then I went downstairs grabbed my keys and said bye to everyone. Now I'm off to pick up KJ.

When I got to his house I beeped my horn really loud then like 5 minutes later I saw him. Not gonna lie he looks hot.

He gets in the car and says "wow Kayla you look beautiful" I say "you don't look too bad yourself" then he says "let's go get down with our bad selves" I laugh and say "do the world a favor and never say that sentence again" we both look at each other and laugh.

The whole way there we were jamming out to my Shawn Mendez playlist. It was fun. But I always have fun whenever I'm with him.

We got to Jeremy's house at like 9 and it was packed. Like actually packed.

As soon as we got in Jeremy comes up to us and says "I'm glad you guys made it" and I say "how could we miss one of Jeremy Gilbert's famous parties" we both laughed. His laugh was so cute. Then Jeremy whispers in my ear and says "come up to my room I wanna show you something" I nodded and told KJ "I'll be back don't do anything I wouldn't do" he laughs and says "I'll be on the couch" I nodded.

I go upstairs and we go to his bedroom and I say "so what did you want to show me" he says "this" then he starts kissing me so I kiss him back. It was honestly so nice, he is gentle.

We keep on kissing but now he's trying to take off my shirt. I tell him no but he keeps trying. I tell him "no Jeremy seriously stop". But he keeps going.
