Chapter 4

KJ POV

I am low key excited for this I already know that they will be accepting of our relationship i mean they have seen us grow up together and know that we will be good together. Right?

We finally finish making the food. We made pizza and this time there was no food fight. we just finished setting the table and now we are watching a movie. i pat my lap and she straddles me. i look at her eyes and then down to her lips and bite my lip and she gets what im feeling and i can tell she feels the same way. we slowly lean towards each other and when our lips touch i feel alive and happy and grateful and so many good emotions. she starts to grind her hips on me and i let out a little moan and she smirks and presses harder each time. i pull away and say "if you dont stop im gonna fuck you right here on this couch" then she pulls me back in for more kissing. right before she could continue grinding on me we hear car doors close and she jumps off of me and sits next to me laying her head on my shoulder.

the front door opens and everyone comes in and me and Kayla rush to the kitchen to get the food which s surprisingly still decently hot. after everyone has a slice of pizza we all sit at the table. it was silent until my mom asked "so what's the big news?". Kayla speaks before me and says "Kj and I are a couple" everyone says, almost unanimously, "FINALLY". to be completely honest im not surprised at their reaction they all know how much i love Kayla. when i look at her shes not surprised either so we all just laugh.

once everyone is finished eating Kayla's mom says "we are all going on a business trip and you guys will be alone for a week or two so don't do any funny business while we are away" we nod. Kayla asks "when are you guys leaving?" My mom says "we are leaving next week" we nod again.

Me and my parents get home I go straight to my room and text Kayla

Kj: so we are definitely doing funny business right??👀🤤

Kayla😍❤️: duhhhhhh 😏😉

Kj: I know I just left but I miss youuuuuu 🥺

Kayla😍❤️: I miss you tooooo 😭

Kj: we should probably get some sleep though

Kayla😍❤️: yea probably

Kj: ok goodnight love you ❤️

Kayla's POV
I wake up to the sound of my alarm again and I start to get ready. As I'm on my way to pick up kj I see that he's already outside waiting for me and as he gets in I say "wow you're actually early I'm proud of you" he giggles and shakes his head "I'm just really happy to see you" he's so adorable.

As we get to school I turn off the car and get out and as we walk inside the school he grabs my hand and interlocks our fingers and I love it. People are starting to look but I don't even care.

We get to our lockers and Jeremy comes over to us and notices that we are holding hands so he says "so you guys are together now I guess" me and KJ look at each other at the same time and kiss and I say "mhm we sure are". I could see a hint of disappointment in Jeremy's eyes as he says "well I'm happy for you two you both deserve to be happy" I say "thanks" and walk away pulling KJ with me because he was glaring at Jeremy the whole time after we kissed.

We walk into home room and sit in our seats when most of the class gets a text. I'm assuming the rest of the class has their phones on dnd. KJ and I got one. It read:

Party at my house tonight at 8 hope to see you all there😘

KJ and I look at each other and exchange the same look. The look that reads "oh hell yeah we're going to this party".

The first period class bell rings so everyone leaves and as everyone leaves I can hear them all talking about the party and that's how I knew that everyone got the same text. To be completely honest I don't even know how she did that. Or at least sent me a text because Madison and I have never spoke a word to each other a day in our lives. So I'm curious about how she found my number. Im not complaining though. I'm happy she invited me to her party. I love going to party's. It's not because they tend to have alcohol its just fun to me in general.

Every chance we got KJ held my hand and I totally loved it. He's the most perfect boyfriend and I couldn't ask for anyone better to be honest. I'm glad we decided to do this whole relationship thing. I know it's only been one day but so far its been one of the best days of my life. I just hope that nothing bad happens and we have to break up. Like I said before I know that this is only the first day but so far this has been the best relationship I've ever had. I think its also because we were best friends for so long before this that it just seems so natural, like I already know everything about him and everything I know I love. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

The school day went by fast as usual and now its time to go home and get ready for the party. Hopefully this party will be nothing like the last party KJ and I went to....

What will happen at the party? Will there be more drama? Will the party go smoothly?
