You plunged into the lake below, your vision is filled by the body of water crushing your body with immense pressure. Your lungs were filled with it, your breath was torn away from you. Your bellyflop burned, but everything else was burning too. Incinerated was your hope, cremated was your chance at success. Two words. Infinite meaning.
You lost.
Internal voices were harassing you every second, each one of the tongues belonging to one of your friends.
"You lost."
"Failure."
"Everyone depended on you, and you failed. You lost."
"The Ocelots were right. You are worthless."
The pressure seemed to be heavier as you were suddenly more aware of the absence of air, the relentless attacks om your mind by your mind not making anything better. You vomited water only to inhale it all again as you sunk deeper down the lake.
You could've swum up by now. But with all your energy and motivation gone, you could only see one end in sight. One black light at the end of one obscure tunnel.
This is it for you. You could feel yourself slipping away... your senses, thoughts, memories, everything you held dear flowing into the thing that would crush you. Drown you.
The end...
Or not.
And suddenly you were up. You retched water out again, relieved to find that your lungs were filling with air instead of water. You let out a cough and opened your eyes to see the start of the moment you had been dreading since you had fallen.
"What happened up there? Why is that thing still alive?" A voice coming to your left demanded, only to be silenced. You couldn't answer, your energy sapped from you, so you just closed your eyes and shook your head.
"...Crap. This is bad. This is really, really bad."
"No crap!"
"Okay okay! Axel, calm down!" The other voice pleaded, an edge of nervousness in their voice.
You reopened your eyes, gathering the energy and resolve to stand up. You don't know why you chose to do that, but you stood up to Axel and Olivia anyways, rubbing your eyes for clarity.
You were back at where the battle began. standing next to where you drank your potion of leaping. You stood alone while they stood before you, forming a triangle. You all stood in silence while the Witherstorm raged on behind you, the purple tractor beams only barely missing you. Petra ran up unaware of the situation but as she saw all of you in a tense triangle, she decided it would be best to keep quiet.
"AAHHHHHHhhh-......"
"..."
"..."
"..."
The uncomfortable silence and awkward glances made your eyes water as your emotions started rushing to the surface. You bit your bottom lip, trying not to cry, trying not to seem weak. You can still do this. You can still beat the Witherstorm. All you need is a second chance.
....Right?
"Jesse! I'm so glad you're okay..." Olivia said, quite insincerely. You would think she'd be the understanding one out of her, Petra and Axel. Maybe this was changing you faster than you could all notice. Won't matter in a few days, though.
"What happened up there?!" Axel bellowed, drowning out Olivia's soft, artificial words. He stepped up toward you, obviously filled with rage behind the fishbowl he called armor.
You fiddled with your armor, flicking the protruding bits and pieces as he yelled louder. Soon though, he was silenced by the roar of the Witherstorm. You both turned around to see that the Storm only got bigger as you sat and argued.
"Let's just," you cleared your throat, "..get out of here."
You ran away with them, keeping your distance as you rode your trusty white horse and rode off back to the Far Lands, where you could probably find something to fix this mess. Or maybe you could find over Ivor again, and maybe he had a backup plan. Or maybe he was dead. To put it simply... who knows?

"GAH!"
You quickly dodged a tentacle that penetrated the ground in an attempt to stop you. jumping over rocks and trees through the jungle biome. You still stayed at least 1 foot away from them out of embarrassment, struggling to keep awake. But with Petra riding with you, you couldn't afford to fall asleep. Not like you could with her grip.
"Jesse! Just ride up!"
"Don't scream in my ear!" You yelped, yet still obliging. You ignored the looks and dodged the massive amount of tentacles shooting down to stop your path. You let out a screech. Or at least you thought you did.
An Enderman just got slammed into the dirt. Shock paralyzed you for a moment, trying to understand the severity. It finally sunk in.
If the Enderman are getting killed by this thing... how are you going to get in again? How-
"Break the amulet!" Lukas shouted, swerving into another path before he could explain his reasoning.
"WHAT??" You screeched over the noise, shock numbing your previous shock. You got no response, so you shouted it again.
"If the Storm is following us to the Far Lands, then we will have nowhere to run anymore! Just break it so it doesn't follow us there and we will have a chance!"
Lukas appeared back in the front, nodding in agreement. Olivia's reasoning was impeccable, but as you held it in your hand, you just couldn't let go...
Until you did. The colored glass was hard to snap, but snap it did. Five friends, one forgotten, all missing. The glass sounded awfully familiar as you threw it behind you, scattering your dust in it. The Storm took an immediate interest in it, sucking it up in a tractor beam. There goes the Order.
All gone.
