***********Unexpected
Amontae had a look of confusion as he tried to figure out what type of baby formula to get Ayden. He didn't really know since Emily would usually get it.
He was at Walmart doing a little bit of shopping. Ayden sat in his car seat inside of the shopping cart. He had a pacifier in his mouth and was taking a nap.
Instead of being stuck up he decided to call Emily. After the fourth ring she answered.
"What?" She answered with an attitude.
She was still mad he cheated on her, put his hands on her, and kicked her out. She let him treat her like trash and she was fed up.
"What kinda' formula do you be getting Ayden?" He asked getting straight to the point.
She smacked her lips, "Why the fuck you don't know what type of formula to get him?" She snapped.
Amontae sighed and didn't respond to her ignorance. After she told him what kind to get she hung up.
"Aw, I didn't know you were a father." A feminine voice spoked.
Amontae looked to see Imani, she was sporting a white tank top and grey biker shorts. She had her hair in a bun and was looking naturally beautiful. Her chocolate skin was nicely moisturized.
He smirked, "Yeah, this my son. Ayden." He informed her as he grabbed a few cans of formula.
Imani glimpsed at Ayden and felt her heart warm. He was so cute, his skin was now darker and his hair was more curly. He resembled Amontae more than Emily.
"Wow, he's like your twin." She complimented.
Amontae nodded his head in agreement, "I know, my boy gonna have them hoes." He joked.
She giggled at him, "I bet. It was nice seeing you again." She said.
"It was nice seeing you too." He said giving her a little smile.
Before Imani could walked off. Amontae gently grabbed her arm to stop her.
She looked at him with confusion, "Huh?" She asked, wondering what made him stop her.
"Let me get your number." He ordered before licking his bottom lip.
It was just some Imani. She was so beautiful him, she reminded him so much of Winter it was scary. From her chocolate skin to her beautiful long legs. It was just something about dark skinned girls that made him love them.
Imani blushed, "Um, ok."
After Amontae got her number they parted ways. As Amontae waited in his line his phone began to ring. Without hesitation, he answered it.
"Hello?"
"Where you at?" Emily asked calmly, for some reason she was being nice.
"I'm still at Walmart, why?"
"Can you bring Ayden over. I miss him."
