When Drew was found two days later no one was sure what had happened to him. It was a mystery. After all, it's not everyday that a generally well off young man is found lying frozen to death in his backyard without shoes or a coat on. To make matters more strange, he was wearing a wedding ring that was nearly a hundred and seventy years old. His death was ruled as accidental. His funeral was held, his things sold from the house in an auction, and finally, the house was put up for sale again.
The house remained the same. Tall and beautiful; high arching and spacious. The grounds were still rolling and well kept. The stained glass still shined down in bliss upon the stairs. The stairs continued their graceful sweep up into the second story. The only difference now was the addition of a new spirit. A sort of tall man with collar length brown hair. He wore a white dress shirt and black jeans. And he was always with a smaller ghost that clung to his left arm. A ghost with floor length hair, clothed in white.
