As the moon gleamed on the leaves of many trees, the wind whistled around like a howl. A jet-black lion padded outside of the den, silently growling and angrily slammed his front paw on the ground. "You done?" A tall brown wolf padded out of the den and sat down. He growled and ran up to Hunter. "What do you want?!" He snapped with his fur on fire and his tail grew ice shards all over it. Hunter raised an eyebrow at him and chuckled a bit. "Sorry, Atieno but, heh, That's cute." He smiled and padded closer to the entrance of his den. "You're just mad that Goldie left me in charge." The strong, huge lion tackled the Time Powered Wolf and held him down, his fur on fire once more. A bird landed on a tree and has a scroll around its neck. A white, red and black wolf yawned and stared at the fighting, elemental animals and shook his head in shame. He took the scroll from the bird's neck and it flew away. He barked at the two fighting but they kept fighting. "GUYS!" The wolf yelled with an angered tone. As soon he yelled, Atieno and Hunter stopped fighting and Hunter leapt off of him and sat down to listen to his friend. "This letter is from Goldie and the others." Atieno laid down impatiently and his pupils grew narrow. "Well, what are you waiting for Zane? Read it." Hunter encouraged him. Zane smiled and opened the scroll. "It says.. 'Gone until tomorrow morning, Hunter is in charge and be careful, signed Goldie'." Atieno got up and growled a bit. "I just can't believe that you're in charge Hunter! I'm WAY stronger than you." Hunter rolled his eyes and laid down on one of the tree branches. Atieno huffed and sat near the edge of the cliff, his ears and fur moved around in the cool breezes. Zane climbed over the den to get to the top of mountain to see the moon clearly. He stared deeply at the brightly lit, night sky and his ears dropped, feeling a bit worried for Goldie and the others. The wolf had some deep flashbacks of how Goldie and him first met and sniffed in fear a bit. A echo-y yowl was heard from afar and Hunter looked down and zoomed in with his hawk-like vision. A black and blue cat laid down in pain, panting hard with his neck stuck in a fox trap. "Guys! There's a cat stuck in a rope, it looks like it was in a fight too." They rushed down the mountain to assist the hurt feline and leapt far down to reach the cat in an insist. Atieno stopped in his tracks, recognizing the size of the scar on the cat's right ear and warned the two wolves. "Zane, Hunter, don't get closer to him!" The tall wolves looked at the fire and ice lion as he leapt down in front of them. "Don't you guys recognize that scar? That's a scar that Amir gives to his clan-mates, this might be a trap!" He growled to protect his friends from the possibility of an ambush. Hunter walked up to the cat and touched his shoulder, the cat turned over on his stomach and looked directly in Hunter's eyes with pain and fear. "If he is, Atieno, he would be in too much pain to fight back." Atieno's eyes shifted to see a tight rope gripping onto the cat's neck and realizes there's no way Amir would leave his Clan-mate here to die. He looked over at Zane and nodded, signaling him to cut him out of the ropes. The white wolf carefully bit and tugged it gently the rope to free the tom. The cat stared at all of them and smiled, closing his eyes and laid down and doesn't move. "No... Hunter, were we too late?" Zane looked up at him with his ears down in fear as Hunter went to feel his heart-beat with his nose to make sure he's alive. "He's alive, but we need to take him to our base." Hunter sighed with relief, picking up the small cat and putting him on his back. Atieno's fur flared up with fury, believing that bringing a member of the Shadow Entities is a bad idea. "You can't be serious! He'll most likely tell his Clan-mates where our home is to Amir!" The huge lion roared with ice spikes coming out of his tail and his eyes fading into a dark purple. The cat woke up and groaned in pain, looking at Atieno and holds on to Hunter's pelt to not fall. "Quickly! We must get him to our base before it's too late!" The team ran as fast as they could and Hunter grabbed the cat in his jaws and climbed up the hill side. Zane took him out of the wolf's grasp and laid him down on a pile of soft leaves. Hunter ran to get some herbs to assist Zane. The cat's eyes opened up a tiny bit and looked up at the lion and heard him say. "You're not really in Amir's Clan, are you?" The cat shook his head no and laid down in massive pain. Atieno gently put his paw on the head to feel his temperature. "Also, what's your name since you're under our care." He asked the black and blue cat, wondering if he'd join us soon. The feline turned over and gazed on Atieno, recognizes him as a friend now. "It's.. SwiftClaw"
