Chapter 19 ~ Kai's Story

Freya's POV

"I think it's about time I tell someone my story" I hear Kai say as I awake, He had knocked me out, And I have been asleep for hours as finally awoke to come face-to-face with someone I honestly didn't think I would see again

I sat up and quickly saw someone asleep on the ground beside me it was, Denise, I crawled over to her and began to shake her as my eyes went in shock, I thought she was still in New Orleans.. apparently I was wrong

"What did you do to her" I shout as tears come down my face and my glare towards Kai became more intense

He rolls his eyes as he says "relax, she's fine, apparently Aurora kidnapped her before I showed up, That's the spirit, I've been ordering her to do it for weeks, And now it's done"

"Ordering?" I questioned but it was more to Myself than to Kai

"Yeah, I've been ordering Aurora to do everything she's done, Besides that things she has with Caroline and Klaus now that's all her, But the rest was all me" Kai explained

"What do you want" I shout as Kai looks at me with curiosity

"I've been hiding, in the shadows until the perfect moment arises for me to make my presence known, And its probably not the right time but I'm tired of hiding, I'm a siphoner," He begins before I quickly cut him off with "A what?"

"If you don't talk I'll explain," He said with and patience as he continued "A siphoner is a witch that can only use magic by draining it from other supernatural beings, like, A vampire, Werewolf or witch"

That last word he said burned in my brain, I'm a witch, he could drain my power and use it against my family, I may have wanted them to suffer in the beginning, but this is a different time, I don't want them to suffer for something they don't even know about, they don't know I exist, the only one I truly want to suffer is my mother but she's already dead so I have no purpose, all I want now is to rescue Denise and get out of Mystic Falls forever, But if he keeps me here, he can siphon my magic out of me and use it against people I love, That's something I don't want to see go down...But its really not up to me...Sadly

"How do you siphon magic" I ask with curiosity as I sit closer to Denise

He walks closer to me leaving me in suspense as he says "All I have to do is touch you, And a bright orange out line of my hand will let me take your magic, You better hope I don't get it all, because you are one powerful witch and if I do your family is dead including Denise"

with that he kept walking toward me as i scooted back but eventually my back hit a wall and I could not scoot no more, Right as he went to touch my arm Denise awoke and all I see is her messy hair as she reaches her hand up towards Kai and chants
Et sanguis in qua ulcus natum pravum viventem (let the blood boil in this devious creature)

As she stopped chanting Kai's hand was quickly ripped away from my Personal space as he held his hand as if he was in pain

He looked to Denise as she stood up and glared him while saying "you should know by now, You won't win, I will always stick by Freya and the people she loves, And I think I can safely say she would do the same for me"
