Chapter 8 ~ She is a Siren

April was sleeping on Rebekah's bed as Kol sat in a chair next to it while watching her sleep, he felt peaceful...

April kept tossing and turning, Not able to sleep, She could feel Kol's beautiful eyes on her but she kept her eyes closed to try and convince him she was asleep, but she reached a point where she knew she wouldn't fall asleep anytime soon so she gave up....

without opening her eyes April shifted her body so her face is pointing towards Kol and she asked "why are you watching me sleep"

A surprised Kol said "you're not asleep, so I'm not"

April then opened her eyes and looked at Kol as he smiled at her, She had this attraction to Kol that she didn't want, It was undeniable, Everytime Kol looked at her she blushed, Every time he smiled at her she had butterflies in her stomach, She felt somewhat safe with him, Even though she knew he was a vampire she didn't believe he would hurt her, Ever....

Kol trying to break the awkward silence and the eye contact she was getting him said "your phone has been ringing all night"

She nodded and reached for her phone which was on Rebekah's nightstand

She called the number that has been calling her which it was her...Dad...

"Hey Dad" she said through the phone awkwardly waiting for his lecture
But it never came
"Where are you, I have a surprise for you" her dad replied
"I slept at Rebekah's last night" she said as she looked at Kol who is sitting on the chair watching her talk to her dad on the phone
Her dad then said nothing about her slumber at the mikaelson's because he trusted his daughter so he changed the subject "come home, I have a very special surprise for you"
April nodded and said "I'm on my way"
"Love you, see you soon" Her dad said as Kol listened intently with his vampire hearing
Then April sighed as she said "Yeah"
She then quickly stood and hung up the phone

"I have to go" she said to Kol as she searched the room for her shoes

Kol watched her look for her shoes when he knew they were in the living room, He continued watching her as he said "you want me to walk you home"

April hesitantly said "okay, Sure"

he then smiled as he continued watching her search for her shoes he crossed his arms and decided to tell her "your shoes are in the living room"

"Oh okay, Thanks" she said as she left Rebekah's room and went to put on her shoes so Kol and her could head to her house

As April sat on the couch putting on her shoes Kol asked "why did you tell your dad the truth about you staying the night here"

"Because I tell my dad everything" April rolled her eyes at Kol's question

His eyes then went wide as he questioned "Everything?"
April nodded giving him his answer

That made Kol's skin crawl, He didn't want to hurt April but he couldn't let his secret get out, So he had to think of a way to tell her she would never be able to tell her father
After April was done putting on her shoes she stood up and smiled at him awkwardly as they went to her house
