You were walking home from your friend's house when you heard something growl behind you. You turned around only to see nothing. You dismissed it and kept walking. Then, you heard it again. Once more, you turned around only to see blackness. Again, it's been dismissed. It sounded as if a dog were growling. 'Whatever.' You thought. Then, you heard what sounded like claws clicking against the pavement. You were beginning to get worried. You started walking a little faster. Your house was about another few blocks away. The growling had started up again but this time, many more growls and some snarls. You walked a bit faster. The sounds got closer, so you ran. The noises followed. Fast. The invisible things were right behind you. They could 'kill' you any moment. If they were even real. You could just be hallucinating from your lack of sleep. You kept running. Fast, fast, fast as your legs could carry you. 'I must be going insane.' You thought. You quickly looked behind you, only to see that there was nothing but shadows once again. Then, you tripped. "Damnit!" You felt a searing pain on the back of your right leg and scraped your hands getting back up and running again. You were now terrified, and kept running and running. You then felt an arm wrap around your waist and pull you sideways in through a doorway. "What the hell?" You said. Then, looked up to see a man in a brown pinstriped suit, red tie, and a light brown trench coat. He looked down at you, as you were sitting on the ground. "Hello. Are you okay?" He said in an amazingly sexy British accent. You stood up carefully with his assistance, only to collapse again. "Sorry." You apologised. You, once again but slower, stood up. Success! You caught your balance while gently reaching down to try and touch the wound the invisible 'things' left and winced as you did. "Here. Let me see." The strange man said helping you balance. "Okay." You said and sat back down with him crouching next to you, examining the wound. "Oh my. Tell me, how did you know that you needed to run?" He asked. "Well, I was just walking home, I heard them and forgot about it the first few times, but then they got closer as I started walking faster. So I decided to run. I ended up falling and one of those things got my leg. Pure adrenaline kept me going. Then you caught me. It hurt so much to run though. I knew I wouldn't make it to my house, even if I did, I wouldn't have been able to unlock and open the door with out getting some more flesh wounds. Thank you by the way, for catching me, strange man. What is you name anyway?" You said. "The Doctor." He replied. "Doctor? Doctor who?" The Doctor chuckles. "Just The Doctor, love." You blushed a little at the nickname. "Okay. I'm (y/n)." You said smiling slightly. "It is very lovely to meet you (y/n). Please tell me, why are you blushing?" The Doctor asked, looking a little confused. "No reason." You replied. "Okay." He said dismissing the whole conversation. "Now. About your leg." He said while pulling thick-rimmed glasses out of his inner coat pocket. "Ouch." He said examining it more closely. "I will go get the first aid kit. One moment." He said, getting up and walking and getting an old-fashioned first aid kit. He came back and crouched down again. "This may sting just a bit." He said cautiously and pulled out some cream and smeared it into the wound carefully. You cringed a bit. It did sting, more than a bit though. It stung a lot. "Sorry, love." He said at your reaction. "It's okay." You said blushing a little again. He looks up at you and grins a bit. "What is it with you and the blushing?" "I told you. It's nothing. I blush for different reasons." You replied with a slight higher pitch than you normal tone and clear your voice after speaking. He chuckles a slight chuckle and returns his attention back to the wound and finally bandages it kind of tightly and watches your face in slight worry that he might hurt you. You shake your head slightly, signalling that it didn't hurt all that much. He continued to bandage. "What is this place any way?" You asked, looking around the room. "This, is my TARDIS. It stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space." He replied, grinning brightly. "What does it do? I mean, besides being a completely different world on the inside and rescuing girls from invisible dogs at midnight." You questioned, giggling a little. The Doctor chuckles. "It travels through time and space. Hence the Time and Relative Dimensions part of the name." He explained. "Oh. Alrighty then." You replied, understanding what he was saying. The Doctor just looked at you and grinned. You smiled back, furrowing your eyebrows at him a little. "What's with you and all of the grinning?" You asked. "You. You're so...clever...no. More than clever...brilliant!" He exclaimed, making you blush a bit. "Thank you?" You replied, not knowing how to respond to his reasoning. "You're very welcome, (y/n)." He said, still grinning. You yawned, covering your mouth. "Sorry." You apologized. "For what? Being tired? There is no need to be apologizing." He said reassuringly. "Okay." You replied to his kindness. You smiled up at him as he stood up and held out a hand. You took his hand and he helped you up off of the ground. "Thank you so much, Doctor." You said, still smiling. "You're very welcome, (y/n)." He replied, grinning. He pulled you into a gentle hug, slightly hesitating, waiting for you to reject it. You only embraced it and stepped a little closer to him. You looked up at him and smiled. He looked down at you and grinned a big cheesy grin. He slowly moved his head down until his lips met yours.
Tell me what I should make happen next in the comments please! Hope you liked it! :)
