" aw thanks, a cake didn't even cross my mind" Getting out of bed I hugged both of them before looking at the dog " soooo he's mine too or he one of y'all dog"
My daddy sighed loudly shaking his head " Always said yeen have no damn common sense. He yours duhh , nigga been at my house since last week since you know allat stuff happened"
Already knowing what he was talking about I picked up the dog and went to handle my hygiene since I wanted to avoid that conversation at all cost today.

They got their selves together and started heading to the front door.
"Matter fact Lena text me when you get home foo,ima stay for a another minute" He yelled out before turning his focus to me "I know why you really don't wanna go out but it might be good to go out and enjoy yourself for one night"

He embraced me tightly ,rubbing my head as I cried like a baby on his shoulder.

Since I had hours to spare I took kilo to pet smart to get him all his necessities. After doing that I still had a good amount of time to catch some sleep in before I had to actually start getting ready so I set my alarm for 5:45 and knocked out.
