"sihyun-ah!" a voice called me from behind and i turned back to see hanuel running towards me.

"did you do the chemistry- WOAH! where did you get these airpods?" hanuel asks as she stared at the airpods yohan gave me yesterday that i was wearing.

i quickly removed them from my ear and kept it in the case.

"it's not mine. i mean, technically it's kinda mine now, but i didn't buy it. it's yohan's, the one koo miyeon gave him," i whisper to hanuel as i kept the airpod case safely in my bag.

"oh... wait! then why the heck is it with you?" hanuel questions, still confused.

"yohan didn't want it," i reply.

"wow... when did he give it to you?" she continues.

i grabbed her arm and pulled her closer to me, filling in to her whatever happened yesterday while we made our way to school.

i was having lunch at the cafeteria with haseul and seola when a few familiar figures came towards us.

"hey, can we share the table? there's no other empty tables," seungyeon asks with hangyul and junho standing right behind him.

"sure," haseul says, shifting her tray closer to us so the guys could seat.

"thanks," hangyul smiles as they sat down.

"where's yohan?" junho asked the guys.

hearing the name yohan , my ears unknowingly perked up, interested to know about what they were talking about.

"there," seungyeon replies, nodding towards the food collection point where yohan was at.

i turned over in the direction to which seungyeon nodded to and spotted yohan.

he nodded towards the guys, and when his eyes shifted to mine, he smiled.

as he was about to make his way to the table, koo miyeon appeared beside him.

i saw her tug onto his arm gently, telling him something. after that, yohan got dragged away by her.

he looked over to us with an unreadable expression on his face.

"where is that girl taking yohan?" hangyul says with a frown.

"beats me, but don't worry, i don't think she'll do anything to him," seungyeon replies.

i let out a soft sigh before continuing to eat my meal.

"park sihyun, yohan told us he gave you koo miyeon's airpods, right?" junho suddenly asks me, taking me by surprise.

"i... er... yeah. he didn't want it," i reply awkwrdly.

"you better not let koo miyeon find out, she'll be hopping mad if she knew yohan did such a thing," seungyeon remarks.

"but don't worry, yohan will probably protect you from her," he adds on, chuckling slightly.

his words made my heart skip a beat.
