i could only smile as i trailed behind the two girls who were walking side my side, talking and laughing with each other.

sihyun met my now 13 year old sister 6 years back when we were in middle school. both of them barely remembers each other but they clicked off well anyways.

we have been in the park near my house for about 30 minutes now and within the first 20 minutes, sihyun managed to teach my sister how to cycle. thank god i asked her to help.

"oppa! my friends are in front playing, can i go join them?" yoora turns back and shouted over to me.

"be careful! don't stay out too late!" i shouted back at her.

she nodded and smiled brightly.

"bye sihyun-eonnie! see you soon!" yoora waved goodbye to sihyun enthusiastically before running off.

i chuckle as i got onto the bike i was pushing and cycled over to where sihyun was. she was holding onto yoora's bike.

"wanna' go for a round around the park?" i suggest.

"sure, i don't mind. but don't you have to go home soon though? for your birthday celebration," sihyun says.

"yeah, but there's still time," i reply.

sihyun nodded, and off we went.

the weather was beautiful, it was sunny but not too hot. it's been long since i came out for a cycle so i really enjoyed my ride around the park.

after that, sihyun and i parked our bikes at the side and headed to the swings.

"i heard koo miyeon got you airpods," i hear sihyun say as we started swinging slowly.

"yeah," i reply with an almost inaudible sign.

"but i doubt i'll ever use it although i've been saving up to get one myself. i mean, it just feels weird knowing that it's a gift from her. i don't even know what to do with them now," i continue.

i know koo miyeon likes me and to make things clear, i think i shouldn't have accepted such expensive gifts from her.

"don't tell me you're gonna dump them away, if you are please dump it to me instead," sihyun says.

i titled my head as i turned to look at her.

"really? do you want it?" i ask.

her eyes widened as she turned to face me as well.

"are you serious? i mean i was kidding when i said what i said," she laughs slightly.

"if i give it to you, will you take it?" i ask her.

sihyun looked away and chuckled.

"well... i mean its freaking airpods... there's no reason why i'll say no when someone's offering it to me for free," she says with an awkward laugh.

"gosh, you might as well just say yes instead if being so wishy-washy," i smile as i unzipped my bag and took out the box.

"catch," i say as i threw the box across to sihyun.

"yah!" she exclaims as she struggled to catch it.

"wow, thanks kim yohan," sihyun grins widely as she looked at the small box in delight.

seeing how happy she looked, i couldn't help but smile as well.
