Benjamin Braxton-a transfer Agent from the FBI, plays with crime scenes like puzzles. He always solves them. Not having one case he can't solve, Benjamin is looking for a challenge. And a challenge will be exactly what he gets.
Colby Simpson is an FBI agent on a mission. A mission she was not supposed to survive. Colby hasn't talked to a person much less an Agent for seven months. She lived in isolation, because it was the safest way to keep information. No one knew where she was, or if she was alive. Or even if she exists.
Agent C.J is the last person who had been in contact with Colby Simpson before her disappearance. But what happens when a certain agent shows up at her door to 'retrieve' her? And what happens when he doesn't take 'No' for an answer? The FBI is crumbling to pieces and Agent Braxton needs to find who is operating the bulldozer. But only one person knows what he needs, Colby Simpson. Will they be able to put their differences aside and save the FBI from becoming another myth or . . . will it be too late?

"What are you doing here?" she hissed, her voice just above a whisper. His own lips curved upwards in a smirk. It had been three years and he still able to derive annoyance from her. It had been years since they had seen or talked to each other without the other raising a fist at the sight of the other.
"Now C.J is that anyway to greet your former colleague?" he mocked. He knew she was a potential lead and considering her reluctance and hate towards him, he should be nicer to her. But he always enjoyed riling her up too much. "I understand that I am much better than you, but there is no reason to be jealous, C.J."
She sent a sharp glare his way. It was as if they had never left the Academy and never became Agents. He felt like he was back in the Academy infirmary, sharing a room with C.J and bickering until they were relieved by the doctors. "Oh please," she laughed bitterly, "The FBI was doing community service recruiting you."
Benjamin returned her glare.

Author's Note-
1. Updates will be up at least once a week—I will try to update as frequently as I can. Although I have a decided day on when I am comfortable to update but sometimes I'm just on a roll and sometimes I am not. Forgive me.
2. I will inform you if I cannot update—I am not likely to break promises. So, if I have said that I will update every week, I will. Trust me. I will try to do my best to update frequently. But if at all in any case (SCHOOL) I am not able to deliver, you will be informed.
3. Feel free to tell me what you think—If you have anything at all to say about my work, don't hesitate to drop a comment in comment section. If you have any questions, spot any potential plot holes or just want to share your thoughts; don't be shy. I will try my best to respond and interact but if I don't... my Email is in my bio, just ask/tell me directly.
4. Rude and offensive comments are NOT appreciated—I truly believe that Wattpad is a accepting and constructive community, so please don't be disrespectful or rude to other people. We're all here to read, write and support. However, if neutral doses of sarcasm and opinions... all you have to do it drop a comment.
5.This story will be set in a dual perspective—This book follows the story of the two main characters and will be written in their perspectives in third person. However, if need may be, I might present another character's perspective to deepen the story and add to the plot line.
6. This is a Stand Alone Novel—This story is set in the Blind Spot Universe, meaning that it runs along with the other Blind Spot books (Access Denied series) timeline. There might be characters from both books interacting sometime during the story, but I promise you, it will not be confusing AT ALL. There is no need to read any other book to understand 'Confidential'. But if you are interested, check out 'Access Denied' on my profile.
7. This story is Copyrighted and belongs to me—If there are other books similar to mine, then I do apologize, I can't read everything the world holds. But, I am confident that I have read enough to make mine something different and worth you while. So, just please don't copy my work. It takes away from someone else's work and is really just mean.
8. This is a work of my imagination—This story is completely FICTION. None of the events or names in this story are apart of any real incident. If there happens to be a similar situation in real life then it is a mere coincidence.
9. Lastly, Enjoy—I just wanted to thank everyone and anyone who thought reading my book was worth their time and I promise you I will try my hardest not to disappoint. Read the book. Comment if you feel like it and vote if you think it's good.
Everyone who has taken the time to go through this boring Author's Note . . .Thank you, I really appreciate it.
Thanks again,
Yours truly,
Tara.
