Skylar's POV
After about 30 minutes of driving, we pulled up in front of a rather large, cream coloured house. It was the typical family home. I must admit, I was jealous. I heard a snapping sound, and then realised it was CC attempting to pull me out of my reverie.
"Skylar? Are you there? Hello...?" His voice managed to reach me, and I was officially dragged out of my daydreams.
"Uhh..Umm...Y-Yeah," I said stuttering. "It's just that, I've never been in a home like this. I've lived in that cottage my whole life. Your house is really beautiful." I managed to say, thankfully, no stuttering. He just smiled, and got out of the car. I followed suit and we walked up to his front door. He opened it, and inside, it was so fancy.
"Mom, Dad, I'm home. I need to ask you something!" CC shouted, while I was looking around the thouroughly decorated hallway. I heard footsteps coming towards us-Quickly. I looked towards where the sound was eminating from, and saw a short, blonde haird woman come jogging into the hall. Enveloping CC in a hug.
"Where the hell were you?! We've been worried sick!" The woman shouted, not noticing me yet.
"Mom, I'm fine. I was hanging at my friend, Skylars house and I guess I just lost track of time." CC looked back and smiled at me, and I smiled back. Then turning my attention to the woman, who I guess was CC's mother, and she was looking me up and down before making eye contact and smiling at me. I smiled back and I think that was her mentally accepting me. She was shorter than CC, but taller than me. I'm 5'4, whilst, i'm guessing, she was around 5'7. CC was about 5'11 though, so he was taller than everyone in the room, until a VERY tall man came walking in, and he eyed me for a while befor sighing and turning his attention to Christian.
"Christian, you should have at least called, we were worried about you." The tall man, who I supposed was CC's dad.
"I'm sorry dad, I wasn't watching the time, I'll keep an eye out from now on. Okay?" He gave fake smile, as if he just wanted them to shut up about it, and it made me smile a little bit. I looked back up from the floor and realized the tall man was standing in front of me. I had to look straight up to meet his gaze, which was suprisingly gentle for such a large man. I lost my balance and stumbled back a bit before regaing my composure and resuming my previous position of eying the floor.
"Who's this little lady then?" Asked his father, I looked up at CC slightly, and he gave me a reassuring smile and walked over to where I was standing, then looked at his father, who was about 6'4.
""Uhh..." He started, trying to find the words to explain. "Dad, this is Skylar. She's my best friend. She had a huge fight with her parents, and asked if she could stay a couple days. She's already got her stuff packed." He explained, gesturing to the black spiked backpack I held over my left shoulder.
"Well..."Started his father, before being cut off by his wife.
"Of course you can stay sweetheart. As long as you use protection, and try to keep it down." She said, a large grin on her and her husbands face. I felt my cheeks get warm, and saw CC had buried his face in his hands, to cover up the deep crimson colour that had over-flowed his cheeks. He lifted his head up and gave me an apologetic smile. Then looked to his parentss, with what looked like desperation mixed with anger. "Don't give me that look mister!" stated his mother, walking back to the kitchen, followed by the man. I must admit, it made me snigger a bit. Christian just shot me a death glare.
"What?!" I exclaimed, still giggling. "Oh come on! Seriously? That was kinda funny CC." I told him. He just ignored it and started up the stairs. I just stood there, feeling rather uncomfortable.
