Why am I such an idiot.? Why do I go for the pretty popular girls that don't give two shits about me.? that's all I've ever known. Erin, though, she's smart, pretty, she might have A good personality if we ever talked. The only time we've talked was yesterday at the library. She was reading my all time favorite book. No one knows I read, they'd make fun of me & if that happened I wouldn't know what to do. Being popular with all the friends, the guy everyone knows, is all i've ever known...

I walked in to use the bathroom when I saw her sitting there. She looked so beautiful, her nose in that book, I just HAD to talk to her. We talked for about 5 minutes before I had to leave.

I saw her walking towards me today, I was waiting for her to get to me when mackenzie called me. Of course I obeyed her like the "good" boyfriend she wanted me to be.

I planned to talked to Erin in class, but Mackenzie wanted to go somewhere. I followed her, till we ended back in her car. She leaned over & kissed me, I kissed her back thinking we were about to go somewhere, till she started unbuttoning my shirt. Then I knew exactly what she wanted. Usually I don't say no to that, but I just kept thinking about Erin & wasn't going to deal with this anymore.

"Stop." I said pushing her off me.

"What's wrong babe." She said sliding her hand up my stomach.

"No. I'm not your babe. Your A bitch. Its over. Leave me alone & never talk to me again." I said opening the car door.

"So, Friends.?" She called after me.

I slammed the door in her face. & walked to class.

I got to class just before the bell rang. My plan to talk to Erin didn't work out after all...

I was looking at her during class, she was off in space somewhere. I wanted to know what she was thinking so badly, but I just couldn't see in her brain.

Mr. A called her name, she obviously had no clue what he was talking about so it was no surprise when he sent her to the office. As she left the room she passed by me. I couldn't help but look at her. She looked at me right as I did. She looked away so fast I couldn't even smile. She left the classroom. I thought to myself: "What perfect time to talk to her than now?"

I raised my hand.

Mr. A pointed. "Yes Paul.?"

"What's the point of listening if we're gonna forget all this anyways.?" I asked as ignorant as I could.

"Because this is essential to life." He answered returning to the lesson.

"How is is essential to life if we'll all forget It by the end of the lesson.?" I asked cutting him off.

"Mr. Zimmer, If you have A problem take it up with the principle. Otherwise please let me continue my lesson." He said & turned back to the board.

"I will." I said standing up.

I walked out the class ready to run to catch up to Erin, but instead I almost ran into her standing outside the classroom door. I don't know why she was standing there, but I didn't care. I was just glad she was still there.
