After School I Went To The Library. Like I Do Every Day. I Know Its Totally Nerdy But Its The Only Place Where I Can Clear My Head Of All The Stress Of The Day. I'm Usually The Only One Here, Except The Seniors Making Out In The Back. That'd Be Why I Don't Know What's Back There. I Know & Have Read Just About Every Book In The Front.

I Was Sitting At One Of The Many Empty Tables Reading The Giver By: Lois Lowry, When Suddenly Someone Sits In The Chair Next To Me & Pushes The Book From My Face. I Couldn't Believe My Eyes. My Heart Started Racing, My Face & Ears Got Hot. I Could Feel My Face Getting Red. He Was Sitting There Talking To Me. Paul Zimmer Is Talking To Me. Then I Realize I Haven't Listened To A Single Word He's Said. I Shake My Head & Say: "What.? Sorry. I Was Thinking."

"Its Okay." He Tells Me.

"What'd You Say.?"

"I Was Just Saying I Love That Book."

"Really.?"

"Yea. Its One Of My Favorites."

"Mine Too. I Didn't Know You Liked To Read." I Say Kind Of Dumbfounded.

"I Love To. But Everyone Thinks Its "Uncool" So No One Knows. Please Don't Tell Anyone." He Pleads.

"Wouldn't Dream Of It." I Say Kind Of Flirtily.

"Thanks. What's Your Name.?" He Asks.

"Erin." I Say Knowing He'll Forget It By Tomorrow.

"Hi Erin, I'm Paul."

"I Know - I Mean Hi Paul." My Face Is Really Red Now.

"Its Okay. Everyone Knows Me. Sometimes I Wish I Could Just Be Invisible."

"Trust Me No You Don't. I'm Completely Invisible. I Have No Friends. Its No Fun. I Have To Get Out Of Everyone's Way Or I Get Stepped On. Its No Way To Live." I Say Completely Honest.

"Oh. I Didn't Know That."

"Yea. Well Now You Do."

Then We Hear A Car Horn.

"Well I Have To Go Now. Nice Meeting You Erin. See Ya Around."

"See Ya."
