"What is that?" I ask nervously to myself, but instead a female voice answers. "You're home...." I hurriedly wake up out of my unknown dream and fall off my bed and my butt hits the ground, hard. Oh man!My parents are going to kill me if I wake them, again. I slowly get up and grunt in pain. I see my spell book sitting at the end of my bed and I walk towards it. Sitting down on the bed, I snatch the book up and try to find a certain spell. I open to a page with a bookmark and I follow down the page with my finger. Got it! My finger is under the word 'Silent Steps' This spell makes it so if you walk you can stomp and just, but you're feet will make no sound. It wears off after about 15 minutes.

I get up from my bed and walk over to my dresser on the other side of my room. As I approach the dresser I open it and I grab my wand from under my cloths. I got the wand from another Demi-god. His father was some craftsman, he handcrafted it himself. After a little research I found out only those who can cast spells and magic are those who are chosen or given powers from parents and or higher god/goddess. I found out that I was chosen sense my parents don't have anything close to magical genes. And I was never given powers from a high god/ goddess I think I'd know. I also found out that people who can cast, has to collect energy from something, nature, sunlight, water, soil, exc. How I get my powers is rare, I've been told. No one before my time has ever collected powers from where I collect it. Gems. My main source is diamonds. Which isn't that hard to get. Casters cannot summon the object that they get their powers from. Weird and stupid right? Well good thing I can summon money. I just buy them from the son of Hermes evening though he steals them and sends them to every girl he has a crush on. I swear he's married over 20 girls in the past 2 years. Thank goodness I'm not going to marry him.

I fit my wand in my hand, that has diamonds all over it, and I chant in my head," Sic avertit eos, usque dum non amplius." Over three times and I feel a warm feeling through me, it happens every time I do magic. It feels normal, I feel like myself, like I was meant to do this. After a second or so I feel the magic still in me, taking affect. I put my wand back under my cloths in my dresser. I have yet to figure out how to do spells without the wand. I put the book with my wand and I close the dresser.

I put on white leggings and a long rainbow shirt that is see through so I put a white tank-top underneath the rainbow shirt. I may not seem like a girly girl type, but I like bright, exciting colors. My hair is dyed a different color almost every week, sometimes everyday. Today it is blue and purple. I put my curly hair colorful hair into a normal ponytail. My hair is naturally curly, unlike my mother's straight hair that I wish I could have, I have the hair that I have, I hate my curly hair. But I'm too lazy to straighten of sometimes. I put on my black combat boots and tie them tight. I stick one of my daggers in my boot just in case anything happens. I put on my bright eyeshadow and my blue mascara that shows off my dark blue eyes. Next I put on some red lipstick that shows just how pale I am.

I walk downstairs and I see my mom making food. Thank goodness. Last time I made food, I gave myself food poisoning. She doesn't hear me come down the stairs till I pull out a chair from the table and it squeaks. She turns around a little startled and smiles. Oh no. Not that, awe my baby is growing up, smile. My mom hurriedly walks over to me and hugs me, keeping her hands off me as I assume they have something on them, and says to me." Happy 17th!" She gives me a kiss on the head and goes back to cooking. This is going to be a long day.
