There about ten of us that had to stay back. I can tell that most of them are good fighters. Garett also was told to stay back. He bumps his should with mine and asks, "How good are you with that bow there?" He points to my bow that I got for birthday. I shrug "I don't know. Not as good as everyone else. I've only had my parents around me my whole life and I've always been good with a bow around them, but a camp like this, I think I'm terrible." Garett slips the bow off my back in one movement and fits it into his hand. "I want to see how good you are with this thing. Actually we have our best bowman over there." He points a finger from his open hand at a scrawny boy. He doesn't look like much. I see a black bow across his back. He reminds me of the boy, Simon from The Mortal Instrumental Series. He is talking to a girl with pitch black hair. He looks our way and sees the silver bow. He seems very interested in it. I look back at Garett. "I think he seen you pointing." I see that Garret's hand is down and he puts my bow out toward me. I grab it and once again, I touch his hand. I get that feeling... of magic. Calm, before you blow up in flames. I tell myself. I take my bow and I fit the hand grip in my hand. I look up and the boy we were looking at earlier is now walking our way, the black haired girl on his tail. I ignore them. "Do you see that?" Garett asks and points up at an apple in the tree next to us. The apple is small and high up. I nod, and Garett tells me, "Hit it." He crosses his arms over his big chest and I feel myself automatically pull a silver arrow out of my arrow bag behind my back. I put my arrow into the bow and I hold it there. I aim up at the small apple, my eyes fully opened.
I release the arrow and it hits the apple down, the arrow straight in the middle of it. "Wow." I hear Garett say and I look forward, my bow down at my side and I see the scrawny looking boy and the black haired girl standing there with wide eyes. "Nice shot. My name is Jonathan, son of Artemis." I get a little wide eyed as he says that name that I'm so familiar with. "How'd you learn to do that?" Jonathan asks seriously and crosses his arms over his chest. "My parents. Well my dad, Zeke taught me most of it, but the rest came naturally" I answer. "Hey, did you know-" Garett started, but didn't finish before Johnathan had a knife at my thoat. Great, what'd I do this time. "What are you doing?" I whisper to Johnathan, his face is close to mine. Garett reaches out to knock Johnathan away from me, but then I feel the knife press more painfully into my thoat, almost drawing blood. "Don't." Garett says in a protective voice that I've never heard before. "It's fine." I grit my teeth as I say that to those who have now gathered around, I mostly say it to Garett. I feel the same feeling from eailer, the feeling of magic. I feel something slip out of my boot slowly, my two daggers, I look down quickly and I see the two daggers floating just above my foot. Ha, the more you know. I concentrate the daggers moving behind Jonathan, Just skimming his back. I hear someone gasp, a girly gasp at first I think it was Garett, which would have been funny, but the black haired girl has a look of terror in her eyes. I poke Jonathan with the two daggers in his back with my magic, and he drops the knife and I feel like I can breath again. He looks behind him to see two floating daggers. My two floating daggers. I smirk as he looks around for who is controlling them and he looks back at me. "No. That can't be. Your it?" He asks me. I feel myself get confused, which I am. What does he mean by, your It? That doesn't make sense. "What are you talking about?" I ask him and I grab my floating daggers that are behind Jonathan. He grabs ahold of my arm and ask, "You really don't know do you?" Again, I feel very confused. "Don't know what? What are you evening talking about?" He pulls the sleeve of his shirt up and he reveals a familiar birthmark. I touch the blob of brown that looks like a big freckle, but looks like it's shaped as a moon, and I remember where I seen that, I have that same mark on my arm. I pull my sleeve up and I show him. " What is this?" He smiles and says, "You are a daughter of Artemis." I hurriedly pull down my sleeve and I feel magic throught my whole body, I take out my wand and I press it to his thoat. "Your lying. That can't be." Jonathan pushes the wand down from his thoat and says,"It's true, not only are you a daughter of Artemis," feel Garett lingering next to me and I feel him stand next to me, his hand slip into mine. I feel myself relax. " Who is my father?" Johnathan sighs and say, "Apollo." I feel myself start to breath rapidly. "Wait, that means," Garett starts and look over at me with bright, big eyes. "H-how.. why didn't I know?" I ask and look down at the green grass under us. "Our mother, and your father, Apollo told Zeke and Tori to protect you. Zeus, wouldn't allow you out in the open. Your very powerful, you have two gods as parents. Your more powerful than Diana and Apollo. The Olympians are afraid of you." At that, I laugh. I feel Garett jump a little at the sound of me laughing. "Gods and Goddesses afraid, of me?" I say and I point to myself. I'd never hurt a single fly, well I'm a warrior, I'd hurt those who try to hurt me. Self defense. "What's so funny, Ispella?" Jonathan asks serouisly. "Nothing, it's just I'm me, and the Olympians, are Olympians! I may be a good fighter, but I won't people kill out of.. fun. Or because I can. No, I only protect others and myself. Only time that I might hurt someone." I tell him. Garett speaks up, "Shes right. She wouldn't hurt anyone." Jonathan looks over at Garett with an angry stare. "You don't evening know her." "Neither do you, Jonathan!" Garett half yells at him. "Stop yelling. " I say quietly and my head is lowered. "I'm sorry." Garett says to me. "We got to go. There coming now." The blackhaired girl says. "Whose coming?" I ask her and I look up at her. I see her eyes, There pitch black, no whites. Then they go back to the light green I saw eairler. "What the..." I say. She looks at me and says, "Your not the only goddess here. Your mother, gave me this gift, gift of seeing. I can see the future and the past also. The ones who are coming, they're.. evil. There coming for you. The barrer around the camp can't keep them out for long. We have to go, like right now." She tells me as her eyes turn black again, she stands there, looking into the future, or past. Finally her eyes tuen back to normal and she says,"You'll have to leave your friends. They'll die if they come with us." I look over at Garett and down at our hands that are still together. I whisper to Garett, "I can see that you want to come with us. If I really am, this. A goddess I think I can keep a couple halfbloods alive." Garett chuckles and says to the black haired girl, "I'm with you." The black haired girl smiles and says, "Just as I saw it." then she looks over and says, "My name is Oasis. Now stop calling me the black black haired girl. Don't ask how I know that. We'll talk later, now we have to go." She pulls a her hood up, I can barely see her face and she pulls a sword from her weapon belt. "Where are we going?" I ask Jonathan. I let go of Garett's hand and I put my bow on my back. I pull out my wand and I fit my hand into the grip. I think of a traveling spell, I say it in my head and I think of the four of us going. Before I know it, I open my eyes to a familiar kitchen. My parents, well protecters' kitchen.
