(what Jessica looks like normally. Remember Jessica knows John's wife personally. So she does see her quite frequently actually. The irony.)

"Elijah stop that" Jessica laughed at her 2 year old as he tried jump on Jessica's back.

"But why?" Elijah asked

"Because mommy said so. You don't want to hurt the baby" Jessica said as she stands up. She puts her hand out for her son to hold.

They were already to go to the park to visit Jill. Jessica let Jill see Elijah quite frequently and that's because granted it's her ex husband's child (which she doesn't know... The irony) but Jill was there for Jessica even when she was younger. It would be a shame to let someone so kind go.

Jessica didn't mean to fall in love with John. She really didn't and she felt bad on a constant. But that didn't stop her from loving him. Granted she did try to distance herself as much as possible but still show the nursing John needs. She was stuck in a rock and a hard place. The only people in her life that she needs to live is all linked together and in a bad way.

Jessica sighed softly as she looked down at her son smiling. She never understood why John was so nice to give her what she wanted. A child. Even two. She knew his past. So she kept her wants to herself but he still found out. She didn't know how. Maybe it was the way she'd show him pictures of baby's and coo at them. She didn't know but she did know was that he loved his children very much.

"Mommy why do you call daddy John? My fwiends mom calls his dad honey. It's too silly of a name to be an actual name" Elijah said wisely.

"Well Elijah to put it in simple term. Daddy and I are different from other parents" Jessica explained as they walked through the entrance of the park.

"Oh Jessica, Elijah, I missed you two so much" Jill said getting up from the bench at the entrance and hugging the two.

"Oh Jill its good to see you" Jessica said happily as she hugged back. Elijah squealed and hugged Jill.

Jill and Elijah were close. It sometimes made Jessica feel like she should give Elijah to Jill. Jessica had nice feelings about Jill but that didn't stop her from loving her ex husband. Jessica knew Jill only meant the best for her and Elijah.

"Did you know mommy is having another baby" Elijah asked happily. Jill froze and looked up at Jessica

"How far" Jill asked a little shocked. This was news to her. She didn't even know Jessica was seeing someone.

"About 6 weeks" Jessica said shyly looking away. She didn't expect Elijah to put her on blast like that. Jessica hasn't been able to see Jill for a hot minute so I mean it was a big surprise.

"Who's the father?" Jill asked curiously

"My daddy" Elijah said happily as Jill put him down

"You hooked up with his father again?" Jill asked "You know James isn't good for you why are you going back to him." Jill asked

"Who's James?" Elijah asked.

"Your father silly" Jill asked

"No, my father's name is John" Elijah corrected. Jessica's eyes widened.

"John what." Jill asked glaring st Jessica who was about to get Elijah. Jessica paused

"John... I don't know but he's sweet and he's a lot older than mommy, at least that's what aunty Amanda says" Elijah says as he giggled.

"Elijah why don't you go play on the slide while I talk to mommy" Jill said

"I can't do that daddy said i need to be careful of certain people. He also told me to protect mommy" Elijah said.

"Elijah, go play I'll be fine with Jill okay" Jessica said standing up to escort Elijah to the slides. "Elijah did you bring your phone?" Jessica asked

"Of course, why mommy?" Elijah asked

"Cause I want you to call daddy and tell him aunty Jill found out. Then stay on the phone with him and tell him if aunty Jill does anything to mommy okay" Jessica asked. Elijah nodded and called John. Once Jessica heard John pick up she left and made her way to Jill. Jill immediately slapped Jessica. Jessica didn't say a word and she didn't hit back. She deserved everything that was coming her way.

"How could you?" Jill asked "my ex husband of all people. You had to go and have children with my ex husband. And since Elijah is three years old that means you had him 2 years after Gideon's death and year after out divorce. I trusted you. I saw yoy as my own daughter and this is how you repay me?" Jill asked a grill as she grabbed Jessica's shirt and shook her "how could you. You knew I was still in love with him and you slept with him. You whore" Jill yelled angrily at Jessica she was so angry. And Jessica took it all while crying. She knew she deserved this that's why she was taking it so well. But she knew John was gonna get mad at her for letting Jill get physical with her.

"Aunty Jill stop telling at mommy she didn't do anything wrong" Elijah said a few feet away from the two his phone was in his hands and he must have been standing there for a while. "She loves mt daddy very much. That's the only person I've ever seen her with. I don't see why you are mad. You should be happy for mommy and daddy. They found happiness" Elijah said wisely.

"He's right Jill you should be happy for us" a voice said through the phone. "Jessica is my assistant and the mother of my children. You need to respect her" The voice continued "i love you Jill but Jessica has my heart now and there are reasons for that. Jessica appreciates everything anyone does for her. She appreciates you, she appreciates me, she appreciates her children, she appreciates the privilege of life. She is everything but negative. If you haven't noticed she didn't say anything she let you hit her and she let you tell at her. But she didn't do anything in return and that is because she is taking the blame fore something that isnt just her fault." The voice said

"John?" Jill asked as she turned to Elijah

"Yes Jill it's me. I need you to understand something. We are given the choice to live but we aren't given the choice to choose how long we get to live. As of right now I'm close to dying. Jessica gave me two reasons to appreciate my life even more. And you also are the reason I haven't given up yet. So please understand" John said as Jessica walked over to Elijah and hugged him close. "The two people you were taking care of during the day are the people I need now more than ever. Jessica not only helps me with everything but she takes the blames, the hits and everything that is directed towards me.. She has fought many people but she never hurt anyone purposely for fun." John explained as she picked Elijah up and held him close

"I'm leaving" Jill said grabbing her purse and leaving.

"I'm disappointed in you Jessica. Didn't I specifically say to come to me immediately when/if Jill finds out about us" John asked "DIDN'T I?" John asked yelling through the phone

"Yes but she didn't cause she knew I was pregnant" Jessica said she looked like a dog being lectured.

"WHAT IF SHE DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE PREGNANT AND YOU GOT HURT" John yelled through the phone. Jessica sat there and took the second lecture she knew she deserved. And she had the straightest face too. People walked by snickering at the fact that she did not seem fazed by the fact that she was being yelled at. And that's Because they didnt understand that if the person who's yelling at her right now yells, there's a reason. "When you coming I need to see you now" John said after his rant which consisted of "you need to be more careful", "Jill is just as dangerous as anyone", "you need to take better care of yourself." Etc.

"Okay.. DAD" jessica said sarcastically as she heard Elijah laugh and John go quiet.

"You are so getting punished later." John said. Jessica tensed. She never heard him say that before. Elijah laughed

"Ooh mommy is in trouble with dad" Elijah laughed

"Yes she is now Jessica. I need you here. And bring Elijah if you want. I got something you two might like" John said as jessica hummed

"Alright, I'll talk to you later. I love you bye" Jessica said hanging up immediately after saying that blushing
