It was dark out and everyone was lying down on the ground. Esperanza and Miguel were supposed to be asleep but they weren't. They pretended to be. They heard the adults talking. Guys I have a plan, I think that we should move to New Mexico because it sounds like a great place and it's cheaper than Mexico and if it's new that means it's better right said Papa. You're right we shall leave tomorrow night where Abuelita can't get to us and we will tell her will give her Esperanza the day after we leave so we can escape before she gets Esperanza.
