A/N- this is my first thing on here so sorry if it's trash! Also sry for my terrible grammar I'm trying my best!
She didn't want to be here.
She didn't want to be surrounded with these. People.
Maven Moonlarks Senses tapped in and out as she stepped up the steps of his castle. Her father.
"Ah. Took you long enough" Jerome Moonlark scolded. "Sorry, the river was- interesting" Maven replied, brushing a strand of her golden-red hair behind her ear. Jerome steppes off his throne and over to her. "Your apology is acceptable" he purred.
"You said you wanted to speak"
"Yes, I believe I did".
Jerome pulled a small piece of paper out of his vest pocket, extending it to her. Maven took it. She dropped it in her pocket.
"You can leave now" Jerome said.
"Ok" she relies.
Maven turned on her heel and walked out of her fathers castle, sprinting once she was out of sight.Mavens POV.
I ran once I couldn't see the castle anymore. Once I reached my home near a river I ran in and collapsed on the floor.
When I opened my eyes I saw my sisters eyes staring down at me.
My fathers eyes.
"What are you doing?" Laniee asked, raising her eyebrows at me. "I was tired" I replied. She helped me to my feet. Laniee was my younger sister by 3 years. She was 15. No one ever guessed we were sisters
She had soft brown eyes.
I had cold blue eyes.
She had light blonde hair.
I had red-gold hair.
She was short. 5,1.
I am most certainly not. 5,9.
Laniee glanced towards my bedroom door. "And you couldn't walk 5 more feet to get to your room?".
I ignored her. I didn't want to explain how I went to see out father without her.
Laniee was back in her room when I turned back.
Soon she emerged with a small box, pushing it over to me. "What is it?" I asked. "Open it" Laniee ordered.
I listened to my sister and lightly tugged on the light green ribbon she had wrapped the box with. When I opened it I was left speechless.
I stared at the beautifully crafted crest, Ever so dusted with a dark maroon color.
It had a Raven and a crescent moon on it.
I noticed that Laniee had one on. She looked up at me smiling as I clipped it onto the clasp of my cloak.
Just then out mother emerged. "How was the meeting with your father?". "Great. Did you have to mention that?" I thought, wincing. "Good". "You didn't tell me you where going to see father" Laniee said. "Well..." I tried to think of a lie off the top of my head.
But I couldn't.
"Laniee...." I tried.
"Why would you go to see him without even telling me!?" My sister demanded. "I wanted to meet-" she cut me off. "Did he only want to meet you?" Laniee asked.
I nodded.
I saw the hurt crack in her eyes. Laniee and my father always had a close relationship.
It affected her most when he went to rule with his wife. He was cheating on out mother.
Tears dripped down her cheeks. "Well next time you have a little. Meeting. Tell him I told him to go to hell!" Laniee screamed
