Shining in Armour

Jae woke up to the sun shining on his face, he tried to move his hand to cover his eyes but he felt a weight holding it down, he looked to his side and saw Woosung clinging to his arm in his sleep, he was sleeping peacefully. 'cutie' Jae thought to himself while gently stroking the hair from Woosung's face, this action caused Woosung to gently smile, he then yawned and rubbed his eyes as he started to wake up. Jae pressed a small kiss on Woosung's cheek ''Good morning prince.'' Jae whispered sweetly, Woosung smiled. ''Good morning.''

Woosung for once didn't have to wake up at a certain time to have breakfast, he could be lazy and get up whenever he wanted, he was finally free. He stood up and stretched his arms and legs feeling a little cramped from sleeping on the floor. ''Have we got anything for breakfast?'' he asked. ''I couldn't pack much without being noticed but I managed to grab a few apples, we can eat them on our way to the next village.'' Woosung nodded while holding out his hand as Jae passed him an apple, he started munching on it straight away.

Jaehyeong started packing up there things so they could continue their journey, he wanted to start moving early so they could reach the next village before dark and because he was sure the maids had noticed Woosung was missing by now and were probably looking for them. ''Come on Woosung lets get going.'' he said to Woosung who was feeding Billie an apple. Jae hopped on Billie and helped Woosung get on the back, they started just walking on their journey.

While on their way Woosung was admiring all of his surroundings, he hardly ever went outside so he saw lots of new things which looked very interesting, Jae just admired Woosung, he couldn't help but smile when Woosung saw a rabbit. ''Look Jae, a rabbit, my mom told me about animals that live in the forest but I've never seen any.'' he said while waving at the rabbit. ''There are many animals in the forest but some can be dangerous so always stay by my side, alright?'' Jae was being very serious, he wanted to protect Woosung. ''Okay, I wouldn't want to be with anyone else anyway.'' Woosung said which made Jae's heart flutter.

They continued their journey in peaceful silence, it was relaxing until Jae heard something like a voice in the woods, he listened for it again he thought he was just he hearing things but then faintly in distance he heard. ''This way!'' He assumed it was one of the palace guards. ''Woosung hold on tight.'' Woosung obeyed, wrapping his arms around Jae's waist. When Jae knew Woosung was not going to fall he made Billie start to gallop in the opposite direction of the guards, it had gotten pretty dark so it wouldn't too hard to get away without being spotted.

after a while they stopped and Jae made sure they weren't being followed, he still didn't feel safe in the woods though so they kept walking. One hour later they arrived at the village. ''Jae where are we going to stay?'' Woosung asked. ''Don't worry I know a place.'' he stated. They made their way through the village, Jae leading the way, eventually they reached an old tavern, it was called The Full House, it was closed by now so Jae knocked on the front door waiting for an answer.

The door suddenly flung open, behind it was man who looked very frustrated probably because they just disturbed his sleep. ''Hajoon long time no see buddy.'' Jae said with a smile. It took Hajoon a second to realise who he was talking to. ''Jaehyeong? how long has it been? come inside.'' They took Billie to the large shed out back so he could stay there before entering the tavern. ''Jae, how have you been?'' Hajoon asked. ''Well things are a little complicated but long story short we need a place to stay and hide for a few days.'' Hajoon looked confused. ''Who are you hiding from.'' Jae hesitated to answer. ''Um...the King..'' he muttered. ''What! The King, are you insane, what did you do?'' ''funny story actually... I kind kidnapped his son, Hajoon meet Woosung.'' Woosung waved and showed his bright smile. Hajoon was struggling the words coming from Jae's mouth. ''Just please let us stay, we wont cause any trouble.'' Jae pleaded. Hajoon just sighed. ''Fine.''

Hajoon showed them to their room, they had to share because there was only spare room with only one bed but they didn't care. That night Woosung and Jaehyeong fell asleep together, finally on a comfortable bed, they where exhausted, they could hardly keep their eyes open so it didn't take them long to be knocked out for the night.
