Shining in Armour

Intro

In the town of Rosalynn a King who goes by the name Kim Jinho, he ruled over the people, he was cruel and selfish. He married a sweet woman called Mina who saw the good in him, she became the Queen and the whole town instantly fell in love with her, she was the opposite to the King, she was caring and generous, she changed how the King thought. 5 years later the Queen announced that she was pregnant, at first Jinho was delighted to hear he was going to have a child, but soon he became narcissistic and didn't want his son or daughter to take over the throne when they become of age, he wanted to be in charge for as long as he could, so when Mina had their baby it was a beautiful boy who the decided to call Kim Woosung, Jinho hid Woosung away from everyone and convinced everyone that Mina had a miscarriage, Mina didn't want to go along with it until he threatened to kill Woosung so she agreed, he made Woosung live in the tallest tower in castle, only Jinho and Mina could visit him they were the only ones with a key except maids who had one so they could bring him food and water.

Years passed and Woosung felt lonely being in the tower all day and night by himself with the occasional visits from his mother and father, he adored his mother but he despised his father, Jinho treated Woosung like he wasn't his son unlike Mina who made sure Woosung was well and made sure he had everything he needed, she brought him things like books to read or paper and pencils to draw on since those were the two main things he liked to do, he had a few drawings on the walls and he had a huge shelf stacked with books, some read and some yet to be read. His favourite book was Repunzel, his mother would read it to him every night, he could only hope that someone would come to his aid and rescue him from this horrid tower one day.

One night when Woosung had just turned 15 he was having a secret small birthday party with his mother and a few maids, they had made him a cute birthday cake with 15 candles, he made a wish, it was that he could one day leave this tower and live a normal life, he blew out the candles just as the clock struck 12 O'clock, his birthday was over sadly, all the maids went back downstairs but his mother stayed to read him his story before he fell into a blissful slumber.

That was the last time Woosung saw his mother, she never visited him again, he doesn't know why or if anything happened because he was stuck in this stupid tower but he suspects it has something to do with his father, his only visitors now were the maids, he became friends with them but he still felt lonely especially without his mother and his father stopped visiting him a few months ago.

Now 3 years later Woosung was shocked when a strange boy came tumbling through the door...
