Blind Love

•Chapter Four•

"So Doctor...Paradinight is his eye more damaged and will there be a chance he can get his sight back?" I ask him and looks down at his clipboard.

"Well no glass got in his eye;making it more damaged than before, but we might be able to fix his eye but we're not sure.

I smile at the last part I heard. 'They might be able to fix brothers eyes' I thought to myself.

"Don't get your hopes up. We might but able to. We'll have to run more test and try it on someone. If he wants we can test it on him, but it might cause more damage and make him permanently blind."

I look down at my feet. My eyes watering. "Why us?" I mumble to myself. I feel Kurapika hug me. I look up at him to see he's smiling at my genuinely.

"Well it might work Alluka. It's all up to Killua now."

I look over at the boy Gon. He's staring at my brother. "What're staring at" I ask crossing my arms.

"Me? Oh! Nothing" he blushes, smiles sheepishly, and looks away until his blush cools down.

"Calm down Alluka" Kurapika says putting a hand on my shoulder. "Is he the one you were telling me about?" I nod my head yes.

He starts giggling. I nudge him in his side and shush him.

"A-Alluka?" Brother starts trying to get up. "I'm here" I say as I try to get him to lay back.

"Where am I?" He asks rubbing the back of his head.

"Your at the hospital from that fall you took at Pikas house" I put my hand in his hair and stroke lightly.

He nods his head knowingly.

"Is my head bleeding?" He ask rubbing the back of his head.

I look at his hand and see blood. I lift his head up and see dry blood staining his fluffy white hair.

"Doctor, his head is bleeding" he comes over and looks at it.

"He might have an concussion" he looks at his clip board.

A concussion? Brother...I'm sorry I let it get this far. I should've watched after you.
I wish... I wish I could take your pain away.

"Hey, I'm fine. I'm always fine" he smiles at me weakly. I could see how broken he was. Just by looking in his eyes.

"Let's wrap your head up ok?" The Doctor says and starts wrapping brothers head.

I miss the way his eyes used to shine in excitement when he seen or got something that he wanted.

I miss the days we used to play and run around the house. I miss the old brother.

"Pika,is she worrying?" Brother crosses his arms. I can almost see the pout forming on his face.

"Yes she's worrying"Kurapika says crossing his arms.

"Cmere"I sit on his bed and he grabs my pulls me into a hug.

I haven't hugged brother like this since we were little.

"So Doc I gotta stay over night or can I go home with my sister?" Brother lets me go.

"Call me Leorio and your gonna have to stay over. I'm gonna Gon here watch after you. I trust him with my patience and he's learning to become a doctor" the doctor looks at me for approval.

"It's up to you Killua. what do you think about it?" I look down at him and run my hand through his soft white locks.

"Gon say something please" brother has his eyes closed like it'll help him determine if he can trust the boy.

"Uh we met already, at the furniture store" my brother slowly opens his eyes like he just woke up and turns to Gon.

"He can stay" he says quietly. Only loud enough for us to hear a little. I look up Gon and it looks like he relaxed a little bit.

My phone starts ringing and it's Shawn. Killua's boyfriend.

"Hello? What do you want?" I spit to last part out. I never like Shawn. He was always an (excuse my French) asshole.

"What's my babe doing" he says on the other end.

"Your 'babe' which one? My brother or some other chick from school?" Everyone looks at me like I said something wrong.

Killua breaks the silence with an annoyed sigh. He starts rubbing his temples and he finally opens his mouth to speak.

"Is that Shawn?" He asks a bit of excitement glimmers in his eyes for just a second.

"Yeah it's me baby" he says on the other line like Killua can hear him.

"He can't hear you Shawn so stop trying"

"Shut it pip-squeak give him the phone"

"No asshole"

"Alluka watch your mouth!" I look over to who yelled. To my surprise it was Killua.

He looks mad mad. Oops.

"Sorry Brother" I put my head down in embarrassment. They didn't need to be here when he's getting after me!

Shawn starts laughing at me getting in trouble.

"Shut up Shawn!"

"Alluka give me the phone and help me into the hall" he says sighing.

I take his arm and led him to the hall. I give him the phone and walk back to the hospital room.

"Gon...I know this is a lot and I really don't trust you but... can you show him how he is supposed to be treated. A real man. He needs it and Shawn is a asshole. He was the schools the player and brother can't get hurt but him.
