She led him inside and gestured for him to leave her luggage at the door, when he turned to face her she realized she couldn't tell him, not yet, she wasn't even sure herself but she had to make sure and tell him by the time he left for work Monday and that was two days away

"What did you want to talk about?"

"Uh....well I wanted to say I'm sorry for overreacting it was foolish of me to.....I can't believe you followed me all the way to LA......you really are crazy"

He smiled, "I would follow you to the ends of the world Tess I love you more than anything"

She nodded and cleared her throat, "Well I need to go to the club and uh......you know"

"Yeah"

"You can stay here"

"I don't want to intrude"

She chuckled and walked to him throwing her arms around his neck, he was surprised but didn't question it as he embraced her tightly to himself

"I love you too"

She broke away from him smiling and pecked his lips, "Stay here and relax I'll just be gone a few hours then we can talk"

He nodded and watched her walk away

"Saen I can't find my contacts and I can't see the edge of the stage"

"Calm down Jessie for goodness sake it's not the end of the world"

Saen was fixing Georgia's hair trying to not lose his mind as the girls kept coming up with new complaints while the band was running out of ways to entertain the crowd of drunken men

"SAEN!"

He opened his mouth but was interrupted by another voice somewhere in the room

"If this is how you've been running my club I better never leave again"

He recognized the voice immediately and so did the two young women who reacted instantly by running to the back door and almost knocked Tess off her feet

"Oh Tess I have so much to tell you....", Georgia was holding Tess's waist in a vice grip as she spoke, ".....about the baby and Damon and you wouldn't guess the amazing new-"

"Ok girls give her some space"

Saen walked towards them and kissed Tess on the cheek while the two women slowly pulled away

"I missed you guys.....but as much as I'd like to catch up, the club is waiting"

They were about to retort but Tess held her hand in the air

"Jessie if you fall off the stage, legs extended, boobs up.....and Gigi you're hair looks good besides they aren't looking at you're do anyway"

Both laughed and made their way to the stage. Saen just watched it all with a gaped expression his shoulders sagging in disbelief

"I've been struggling to get them onstage for the past half hour and you come in and-"

She chuckled and tapped him on the cheek, "When you've been a boss for almost twenty years it kinda comes naturally"

He just smiled and embraced her momentarily lifting her off her feet

"Why didn't you call me and tell me you guys were coming home early? Where is lover boy?"

She sighed and forced a small smile, "At my apartment"

He nodded and leaned back to to look at her face more intensely, "I know you....."
