Frances was drawing,
She liked to draw just like her daddy, one she wanted to be as good as he was
When she finished drawing she quickly run to her mom that was making dinner
"Mommy, mommy look I made a drawing" Frances said excitedly showing her draw to her mommy
Angelica picked her 5 year old daughter on her arms
"See it's me, you and daddy" Frances said excitedly pointing to the figures on the drawing
"Oh dear it's so beautiful" Angelica said kissing her forehead
Someone knocked at the door
Angelica took her daughter to the ground "I'll be right back okay?"
"Okay mommy" Frances said going to play with her dolls
Angelica smiled at her and made her way to the door
When she opened the door, for her surprise there stood her husband's lieutenant
"Lieutenant Jones(I just made this name lol) what a surprise, in what situation do I have the pleasure of seeing you?" Angelica said
"Mrs.Laurens I'm so sorry" the man said almost crying "your husband was always a brave man, and he really wanted to fight for everyone's rights but unfortunately yesterday the world lost a really kind man with a big heart" as the lieutenant said Angelica was almost crying but kept a straight face
"I'm so sorry Mrs.Laurens your husband was shot yesterday in the afternoon and I wanted to come here to give my personal condolences I'm really sorry Mrs.Laurens" the lieutenant said
"Thank you lieutenant he really was a kind man" Angelica said with tears ready to spill out of her eyes
"I'll see you at the funeral Mrs.Laurens take care" the lieutenant said leaving
Angelica was quick to get in her house, when she did she started crying like there was no tomorrow
How would she live without John?
She was worried about Frances she would grow up without a father
But what she was really worried right now was herself, how would she live without him, without his kisses, without his cuddles, without waking up with him smiling at her, without him saying to her that everything would be alright
"Mommy are you okay?" Frances asked seeing her mom crying
Angelica quickly wiped her tears "yes sweetheart everything is alright" Angelica faked a smile to her daughter, she couldn't tell her, Frances loved John
"Everything Is alright..."
