There was quiet and one-sided chatter from the two boys behind me. The green-haired male attempting to speak with the sandy blonde, but Bakugou simply ignored him. He seemed to be attempting desperately to get his boyfriends attention. My boredom almost lulled me into a state of sleep as my brain focused once more on Todoroki Shoto. I analyzed his features blankly, the heterochromic eyes, the mismatching hair, his jawline and cheeks. My brain finally formed a question as I stared at his hair, I wonder.
"Hey Todoroki?" The male gave a simple glance up from his soba in acknowledgment, his eyes locking with the food again shortly after.
"Does the carpet match the drapes?" The male stopped mid-chew and blinked, confusion settling in his eyes. The boys behind me had become eerily silent, considering who they were I was more then a little surprised. I felt the stare of both males burn into my back. There was a small, awkward pause. The tension in the air could probably be cut with a knife. The boy in front of me swallowed before answering.
"My home does not have a carpet L/n." I let out a small laugh, Todoroki only becoming further confused.
"Not your home Todoroki!"
"Then which carpet are you referring too?"
"Nothing, nothing, just go back to your soba!" I shrugged simply with a smile.A loud scoff came from behind me, followed by a metal scrape. The blonde had stood up and had his arms crossed, he gave an annoyed glare to the red and white haired boy as he stood over me.
"They're asking if your hair matches everywhere, Dumbass."
"Kacchan!" I glance over my shoulder to see an annoyed Bakugou and Midoriya reprimanding him. My eyes drifted back to Todoroki who was staring at me, our eyes locked for a few seconds. He then went back to his food, gazing into it as if it was the most amusing thing he had seen all week. The male seemed to be thinking about something, possibly about how stupid I was. There was silence for a while, aside from the two guys who had started to leave. They packed up their food and walked out together, still, they kept bickering.Once they had left the room an even more painful and awkward silence settled between us. The unbearable quiet seeped into the room, it felt almost suffocating. I looked around at the simple classroom, avoiding Todorokis possible stare. It would have been horribly awkward had our eyes met again. This lasted for more time then it should have, but what could I say? Nice weather we're having? No!
"Yes, " my eyes snapped back to the males face. I silently flustered as his eyes glistened without any particular emotion. He really was always on neutral during our conversations.
"Y-Yes? What do you mean?"
"You asked a question earlier, does the carpet match the drapes. Yes, yes it does." My cheeks burned as Todoroki simply began to put away his things. I swear I saw amusement flicker in his eyes when he turned away, if it was there, it was quickly replaced with the same neutral expression he always wore."O-Oh. And your hands uhm, is one just more cold than the other?" The male paused for a moment, blinking a few times before turning towards me. He walked over in a very relaxed manner and proceeded to place his hands on the sides of my face. His left hand warmed my already heated cheek further, but his right cooled down the other side. I absentmindedly leaned into his right hand, a comfortable sigh escaping me as my eyes fluttered shut. I then placed my own hand over his, holding the chilly skin against my blushing face. I ran my fingers over his, tracing patterns onto his cold flesh. There was silence once again as Todoroki stood still, only then did I understand what I was doing. My eyes shot open and I removed my hand. My cheeks regaining their heat tenfold as I took a step back from the overwhelmingly comfortable touch.
"Oh! I'm so sorry, please forgive me!" The male responded with a small smile and a much more hushed voice.
"Its alright, " he let out a chuckle as I continued to turn red in a heavy blush. The Todoroki was being sweet and I don't think my heart can take much more of this. My heart threw itself against my ribcage as my mind thought of another question. Wait.
"Todoroki?" No! No, don't!
"Yes L/n?"
"Are your lips hot or cold?" The male placed his hands once more against my cheeks and brought my face close to his in one swift movement. His heartbeat steady and slow as he inched closer, he seemed extremely calm. The male made it evident that he was going to show me through physical means, making my heart run laps. He pressed a quick peck to my lips and pulled away just as hurriedly. My brain registered the temperature as warm, but his breath was cool, minty even. My eyes widened in shock, not a slow and sweet kiss like I had expected. Was he teasing me?"I don't know L/n, you tell me." The Todoroki then walked outside of the room, not missing a single beat. He was smirking and his eyes held mischief. I think I just saw Todoroki's playful side. Wait...so he was teasing me!
"Todoroki, come back here!" I called as I made my way out of the empty classroom. I ran after the boy strolling down the hall, my heart beating wildly. I have another question for Todoroki now that he's kissed me.
"Todoroki!"
Shoto, can you kiss me again?
