Chapter 12

Eira's POV

I woke up to the best morning ever. Liam's hands were wrapped around me. I felt his hot breath on my ear. I turned to look at him. He was really hot. His hair was in a mess. I brushed his hair and he moved a little. I got scared. I don't want to wake him up. He murmured something and continued to sleep. I smiled and continued to brush his hair softly. I studied his face. He was sleeping peacefully. He was snoring softly. I rubbed his cheek with my palm. He felt so comfortable.

I looked at my ring finger. The ring was beautiful. I've seen this ring before. When Liam's mother died, she told him to keep it and give it to his fiancee. He kept it safely in a secret place. I've never thought this ring would be mine. I've never thought he will be mine either. This guy became my best friend, my business partner and now he is going to be my life partner. He stole my first kiss. My virginity. He was everything to me and I'm so happy to be his.

My hands moved to his chest. His abs, his arms, everything was just amazing. I wrapped my arms around him and I was shocked when his hands snaked around my waist.

Me : Darling! Are you awake?

I whispered in his ears. He smirked and opened his eyes. God! Those brown eyes just killed me. He kissed me softly on the lips. We stared at each other with full of love in our eyes. We brushed each other's hair softly. Suddenly, Liam's phone rang. He took his phone from the night stand. It was Narma. Liam answered the call.

Liam : Yes, Narma.

Narma : Sir, is everything alright?

Liam : Yes, Narma. Everything's just fine. Why?

Narma : Sir. It's 9:30 a.m. in the morning. Are you and Miss Jackson on a leave today?

Liam : Oh shit! No Narma. We'll be there.

Liam hung up and thousand questions were in my mind.

Liam : Quick, Eira! We're late for work!

Oh my god! I just realise that it's a working day. Liam went to his room to get ready while I grabbed the towel and headed to the bathroom. I took a shower and quickly get dressed. We reached the office at 10 a.m. We said a quick goodbye and entered our office.

Liam's POV

Narma followed me and entered my office.

Liam : Thank God you called me, Narma. Thank you so much.

Narma : No problem, Mr Payne.

Liam : Tell my schedule for the day.

Narma: You're having a meeting with designers from Italy to redesign the Palazzo Del Re. I think we should prepare now for the meeting because the meeting will take place in ten more minutes. I'll tell the rest of the schedule after the meeting.

Liam: God. What a busy day? Ok Narma. Please call Eira now and tell her to come to the meeting room.

Narma: Alright, Sir.

I entered the meeting room and waited for Narma and Eira. The two ladies showed up a few seconds later. We prepared the things that we needed for the meeting. We were ready and that gave us confidence. The meeting started and it went smoothly. After about two hours, the meeting ended. Eira and I were so hungry. We skipped our breakfast this morning and that made our stomach to grumble. We went to the snack room. We sat at the mini dining table to have breakfast. Eira and I sat at the table and had some waffles and a cup of coffee. It was good. Narma joined us too for breakfast.

Narma: Congratulations Mr Payne and Miss Jackson. You both are such a cute couple.

Eira and I: Thank you, Narma!

Liam: Wait! How did you know about this?

Narma: Mr Payne. I know everything. Hahaha. Ok Mr Payne I have to do some work. Catch you both later. Bye Miss Jackson.

Eira and I: Bye, Narma.

Narma left the room and I looked at Eira.

Narma: Narma is such a great secretary. She does her work perfectly and she helped me a lot. Without her, I would be a mess.

Eira: Yes, she is. That is why you're so organised nowadays.

We both laughed. I saw the ring at Eira's ring finger. I smiled and Eira saw it. I held her hand and smiled. Our eyes met. We stared at each other with love.

Liam: We didn't have a nice talk this morning.

Eira: Yeah.

She told and there was a tip of sadness in her eyes. I was sad too. Suddenly Alex and Michael entered the room. They saw us holding hands. They whispered something and Eira tried to take her hand away from mine but I tightened my grip. They took some snack and went away. We finished our breakfast and decided to leave as we have to complete our work. The rest of the day was really busy. We barely had time to have lunch together. We had a big piece of work. The King of Italy wanted to redesign his palace so they chose us to join their team of designers. That's a very big honour for us. I was working on it for the whole day.

Britney's POV

Alex: Did you see them? Oh my god. They're engaged. Narma told me. I couldn't believe those words came out from Narma's mouth. But after seeing the ring on Miss Jackson's finger, I was really shocked. They were holding their hands too. Narma was right!

Michael: Yes! I was shocked too. I can't believe it. They were like best friends last week and now they're engaged. Everything turned upside down after their visit to London. Something fishy must happened at there. HAHAHAHAHA!

Both Alex and Michael were laughing and making jokes about Eira and Liam. I was fuming with anger inside. Eira is a betrayer. I am going to find a way to break them apart. I'll do exactly what she did to me. I'll make sure she suffer every single day of her life.

FLASHBACK

I had a great dinner with Eira and Liam last night. I was so happy after a long time. Liam was so hot. I couldn't take my eyes off from him. I had a shower and get ready for work. I hope I can meet Liam today. He has never been to the café in the office's building. When I was on my way to work, my phone rang and it was Eira.

Me: Good Morning!

Eira: Good Morning! How are you today?

Me: Great! You?

Eira: I'm great too. You know what? When I went inside Liam's room to wake him up, he was murmuring something. I get closer to him to hear what he's telling and then I heard your name. I think he likes you. The way he looked at you and the way YOU looked at him. I know there's something going on between you too.

Me: Haha maybe. He's so cute.

Eira: I see. Well you like him, right?

Me: Maybe...

Eira: Don't lie to me, Britney. I know you're such a bad liar. You can't hide anything from me.

Me: Haha you know me very well. Find out yourself.

Eira: Ok. See you at work. Bye!

I hung up. I couldn't stop smiling to myself. Eira made me fall in love more with Liam. That day I couldn't meet Liam because he was so busy. I tried to meet him the next day but he flew to London. He came back after a week and this happened. Eira and Liam fell in love. After a few days they got engaged. If she loves Liam, why she need to call me and tell all those things? I knew she planned something. Bitch! Look what I'm going to do to her. Just wait and watch.
