Chapter 16

Eira's POV

Me: Where are we going?

Liam: To your favourite place.

Me : My favourite place?

Liam : Yes. Your favourite place.

Me: I have a lot of favourite places. Which one is it?

Liam : You'll see it soon.

Me : Ok

I looked out of the window. Where the hell is he bringing me? Why don't he just tell me? I'm not the type who love surprises. A person will know it soon, right? Why don't you just tell when you can. I'm just going to die because of suspenses.

Me : Are you abducting me?

Liam : No. Why would I do that?

Me : The way you act and you don't want to tell me where you're taking me. That's why I have the feeling.

Liam laughed and I glared at him. Then I looked out the window again. I closed my eyes and kept quiet. A few minutes later,

Liam : Eira, we're here....

I opened my eyes and I closed it swiftly. The place was so bright. My eyes took a moment to adjust with the brightness. A few seconds later I opened my eyes again. There were a lot of colourful lights. IT WAS A FUN FAIR! LIAM BROUGHT ME TO A FUN FAIR! Oh my god. I was so happy. I laughed and opened the car door. I was jumping with happiness. Liam came out of the car, locked it and smiled at me. I gave him a tight hug.

Me: Thank you so much Liam for bringing me here. It has been ages since I've been to a fun fair. I love you so much Liam.

Liam: I love you too, sweetheart.

Liam pecked me on the lips and I smiled widely. He smiled back too.

Eira: Quick, Liam. Let's go.

I pulled Liam's hand and dragged him. I was so excited. Liam and I bought some tokens.

Me: Shall we go on the roller coaster?

Liam: Ok.

We headed to the roller coaster and since there weren't much people, we didn't need to queue up. We just gave our tokens to a guy who take care of the ride. We climbed on the roller coaster and wore the seat belts. We waited for a a few seconds and then we heard something like a siren and the roller coaster started to move. My stomach flipped and I got nervous. I held Liam's hand tightly. The roller coaster was moving slowly at first and then it started to speed up. My stomach flipped everytime it goes up and down.

Me: When is this thing going to stop?!

I screamed to Liam. Liam was happily enjoying the ride. That asshole is not scared of anything.

Liam: I don't want it to stop!

Liam shouted and I slapped the back of his palm. Our fingers entertwined again and I started to enjoy the ride. Unfortunately, a few seconds later, it slowed down and stopped at the place it started. I groaned. Liam stood up and got out of the roller coaster. He gave me a hand and I took it.

Liam: Hey. Do you want some cotton candy?

Me: YES!

I love cotton candy. Liam never forget to buy me one when we go to a fun fair. He quickly bought one and we headed to the ferris wheel. There was a long queue. Oh no! I hate to wait. We joined the queue and waited for quite a long time. I ate my cotton candy while waiting. I felt like someone's eyes were burning on me. It was Liam. He was staring at me.
