bakugo POV
it hurts so much... but i can't cry, not for him. he's helping me so much. i look up at him and see he's crying, 'please don't cry...' i think as i wipe his tear away with my hand cradling his head. "don't cry, okay?" he doesn't respond, but he keeps on cleaning my wounds. i ignore this and keep trying to not wince, little ones releasing as he stops, then continues.
after a few minutes, he cleans them. "wanna check on the brownies?" he asks me.
"sure," i say as i get up and walk to the door.
we get downstairs and see that they finished (from sticking a toothpick and nothing coming off of it). todoroki uses his hot hand and reaches for the pan, "wait! you'll burn yourself!" i say as i grab a mitten and put it on his hand.
"my hand can release fire... this doesn't affect me," he says with a chuckle at the end.
"i'm so dumb!" i say as i laugh really hard, he joins me.
he grabs them out and puts them on top of the oven and laughs with me more.
we stop laughing and cut the brownies into 9 and each of us take 1 as we head to the couch to eat them. "movie?" he asks, i nod. he goes onto netflix and looks through the movies, "request?"
"anything," i say, immediately regretting that decision as he looks into horror. see... people think i can handle horror, i can't. FUCK I CANT HANDLE WHEN SOMEONE TAPS ME ON THE SHOULDER! whatever, act strong.
he plays the babysitter and i hate it already. i hate this movie so much, my older sister used to make me watch it. it was her favorite... before she... left us...
she went and joined the army. she hasn't come back for a few years and i think she's... left us...
as soon as the scare comes, i've already latched myself onto todo's arm and torso. "scared?"
"u-um n-n-" i get cut off by another scare. i whimper, "shhh, it's okay," he says as he pauses the movie. i start to hear little pounding, it's fast. i look up and todoroki is looking out the window, i look where he is.
rain.
rain, it's calming.
i release slightly from his grip to watch the rain. i get out of his grasp and run to a window with a smile on my face. suddenly...
thunder...
i hop from shock and fall on the floor. i look left and right, then jump up and into a closet. i close it shut and fall to the floor, i hug my knees to my chest and start hyperventilating.
i cover my ears as tears leave my eyes and my breathing grows shallower. i hear the faint sound of a voice, probably todorokis, along with pound pound pound and drip drip drop drip drip drop, from the water against the window.
the door comes off as a get embraced in a hug, it's warm and cold. todoroki...
"shhhhhh, it's okay. it'll be gone in the morning. relax, it's okay. 'fucking icy-hot' is here..." he says as he brings me onto his lap and rubs my back. i just cry and whimper whenever another thunder sound comes.
adventually, i pass out from exhaustion.
