Dinner?

Sebastian (POV):

It was about 2:53pm and I was on the couch with Dakota and his parents, we were there to tell them that me and Dakota are together.

"Mom, dad were here to announce that we are now a couple and we're deeply in love" Dakota explains.

His parents look at us then each other with smiles on their face, I was confused as to why they weren't yelling or even shocked for that matter.

"I told you it would happen but you didn't believe me" Dakota's father Daniel said to his wife.

"I didn't say I didn't believe you but you owe me $50" she says holding out her hand and he sighs pulling his wallet out and handed her $50, I look confused and shocked.

"Did you guys bet on us?" I asked.

"We're sorry dear but yes we did and I won" Dakota's mom Dina says as her husband just listens to the conversation.

"Oh alright then, may I ask what the bet was?" I spoke with curiosity.

"Oh! It was to see if you two would get together before your birthday but Daniel thought it would be after but he was wrong as you can see" she says with joy in her voice.

"Alright then, enough of that we also have to tell you boys something" Daniel finally spoke as he sat up.

"We're having a family dinner tonight and there are suits ready for you both, so be ready by 7:30pm" he tells us before standing up and we all get up as well, Dakota's mother hug us and we return it.

Me and Dakota head to my room and I sit on my bed as he closes the door and walks over to me, he leans down and starts kissing me. I return the kiss but when I do He deepens it and I let out a soft moan which I could tell was turning him on, he runs his hands down my backside to my ass and gives it a slight squeeze making me moan and that gives him the chance to shove his tongue into my mouth, I fall back onto the bed with Dakota between my legs.

We break from the kiss which leaves us both a panting mess and I look up at him and he smiles and pulls away from my face and soon down to my neck, he kisses my neck and nips at my skin and I bite my bottom lip as he does this. We stripped of our clothes and had sex right there, it was relaxing to be with someone you loved.

After our little rendezvous, we cuddled up and fell asleep in each other's arms which I found was rather comfortable, i hear a ping and I look over to see Dakota texting on his phone but I decided not to question it and keep my mouth shut because I wanted to enjoy this peaceful silence we shared even though he was doing something else. He got out of bed and started to get dressed.

"I'm heading out, see you at dinner okay?" He told me as he left the room without another word, I lay my head on the pillow thinking what just happened. I look at the time to see it was 4:37pm so I had time before the dinner so I decided to take a nap to relax my mind.

It was 7:45pm and everyone was in the car except one person and that was Dakota, we arrive at the restaurant and I walk behind Dakota's parents as we entered the beautiful restaurant that was slightly packed but there was still room to move around with ease, the door greeter walks up to us with a smile.

"How can I help you folks this fine night?" He greets politely.

"Reservations for Rosewood" Daniel stated. The greeter looked on the list and then smiled as he started to walk from behind the podium.

"Right this way, the waiter will be right with you" he tells us as he shows us to our table, we sit down at the booth and we are handed the menus by the greeter who soon walks away. Dina and Daniel sat next to each other while I sat across from them, I look over my menu when I get a text message, I take out my phone and looks at it.

Dakota☠️: Hey baby girl I had fun with you, hope to go for another round soon.

When I read that my heart broke but I knew it had to be a mistake and meant to say "baby boy" not "baby girl". I'll ask when I see him, he told us he was held up at work but it was his day off, I put my phone away and order my food when the waiter came to our table.

"Sebastian, we have something to tell you but we wanted to tell both you and Dakota at the same time but he isn't here like always" Dina stares with a bit of anger but quickly hides it as Daniel holds her hand.

"What is it?" I ask them.

"We are adopting a girl about your age and she needed a home because her parents didn't treat her well, so we are taking her in and we hope that you will watch over her and care for her like she was your sibling." Daniel says but I stare at them with wide eyes, I didn't expect to hear something like that.

"T-that's fine with me, what's her name?" I ask.

"Skyler Thomas" They say in unison and my mouth drops in shock.

Skyler Thomas....My ex girlfriend....
