The bell rings and I'm off to lunch. I'm supposed to meet up with some friends so I grab my lunch money out of my bag and head towards the staircase.
"Hey" i look up to see Cody standing there alone, great.
"Hey" my tone came out more annoyed than I had wanted it to but whatever.
"What's wrong? you don't wanna talk?"
"Not really"
"Why not?"
"Cody, is there something you want or are you just wasting my time?"
"I wanna talk to you"
"Yeah, right. I don't have to time right now" I turn to away from him to keep walking.
"You know I could have you if I wanted to" he says it so randomly, and so cockily it makes me laugh.
"No, you really couldn't. Plus it's not like you'd actually ever 'want me' so what does it matter." I can't help but notice how much closer he's getting. We both slowly move closer into a corner between the staircase railing and the wall.
"Oh, come on! You're into me, and you know it. And well, maybe I do want you..." my back is now up against the wall and he slowly continues to move closer, his eyes tracing me up and down.
"Well, you're not gonna get me"
"Are you sure about that?" He says placing his arm above my head and leaning over me.
"Yeah..." i say trying to hide the hesitant feeling I've gained. Once again he's making me feel so weak.
"Sure sure?" He says leaning closer.
"Uh-huh..." his lips touch mine. He kisses me, and I kiss him back. I kissed him back! One of his hands moves to my waist. I start to feel myself getting lost in him so I pull away.
"You still sure?" He says with a grin.
"Shut up" I slid under the arm that is still placed above me and begin walk away. His hand wraps around my waist and spins me around back to him.
"Where you think you're going?"
"Away from you"
"No" he says and kisses me again, this time insanely gently. I need to stop myself from giving into him. I pull away, and try once more to leave. This time he lets me.
"I can't stand you" I mumble, my back turned to him
"Yeah, I can tell" he's still grinning, I can hear it in his voice. I feel his eyes on me as I walk away but I continue to walk.
