Rewind to two Mondays ago. On the upside, I scored a seat in the back of PSHE class so I was far enough from the screen to avoid being scarred for life by DVD on sexually transmitted diseases- icksville. Plus, I shared my lunch with my two best girl-pals Aimee and Clair, which is always my favourite thing to do.
Aimee and I have been friends and then bestfriends since our childhood. She used to be my neighbour until i was 8 years old and then later we got shifted to a new area where i met Clair! But nothing beats Aimee she was and is still my best friend and so is Clair. Even Aimee had no issues with me being friends with Clair and now look! All three of us study together and are the bestest friends of eachother!
Okay, so getting back where we paused. Two Mondays ago, on the downside however, I auditioned for the school play and all Miss Ricci the drama teacher could say was how completely amazing Mia was in the last year's production of Romeo and Juliet. Then, as if that wasn't bad enough, some idiot-shaped boy asked if I got to see Mia in her night dress- I mean, really? Like seriously? seriously dude? Are you kidding me?
I was getting pretty sick of it all. It was driving me crazy!
So that night, while Aimee, Clair and I were attempting to do our maths homework, Aimee, who was a mid-rant about why nobody actually cares about isosceles triangles, stopped and made a concerned-looking face in my direction.
'What's the matter, Nau-Nau?' she said narrowing her eyes.
(yeaahh.... she calls me Nau Nau pronounced as Nu Nu, i guess :P Well, she pronounces it that way)
'Nothing.' I said, suddenly finding my math homework really, really interesting. LOL at that though!
'Comeon,' Clair sighed. 'We know you too well, Miss Naura, something'sup. Spill. Spill the beans up! NOW!'
'Yeah,' said Aimee. 'Out with it.'
'Well......' I hesitated, because for some reason it was far too embarrassing to admit that I felt inferior to Mia, even to my bestfriends in the whole wide freaken world. But if i couldnt share it with my best girls, then who could i share with, right?
