I heard my mom asking my dad if he had seen her gold earrings.

'You know,' she said, 'the ones you got me for our anniversary, with diamonds?'

'Ooh yeah, I do remember them very well. Did you wear them on the trip?,' Dad asked.

'no, now that I think about it, I completely remember leaving them on my dresser...,' I heard her say.

Suddenly my stomach dropped. I did a little mind scan of the entire party action and arrived at the image of the kids who had been in my parents room during the party. When i had caught them, they had made their way out of the room as swiftly as possible. It was them. OMG, IT WAS THEM!!

They had taken my mom's earrings. Ohh, crap! I feel very horrible and very guilty, and I didnt even know what to do. I just lay there, terrified. I tried to imagine asking them to return me back the jewellery. I was sure they definitly deny it, plus I had no cold, hard evidence that proved it was actually them.

At that very moment, I realised that I was such a total fool for having the party. I felt like a huge gigantic idiot for believing that everybody would think I was cool, just because I let them come over and mess up our entire house. Oh god, how can I be so immature and behave like such a moron. I'm so screwed up.

How should i get out this trouble that I have got meself into in? How should I get mom's gold earrings back? It seems more like a Mission Impossible.

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

A few moments later I was disturbed by a knock at my door.

'Can I come in, sis?,' Mia asked, hovering into the doorway.

'Sure,' I said rearranging my face from terrified to pretend all happy,

'I brought you this to say sorry for leaving you behind at the weekend,' she said, handing me a T-shirt with a pink-haired character called Lola on the front. It was a fine, sweet and a comfortable T-shirt.

'Errmm.. umm... Thanks, Mia,' I said, trying to sound a bit cool and as normal as I possibly could.

Mia told me how much fun the entire trip was and that one of the cute students giving the tour of the college slipped her his phone number. LOL!

Ofcourse, he did, I mean, why wouldn't he? Afterall, Mia is so pretty and beautiful. Every other guy you know either has a crush on her or falls for her.

This is pretty common and obvious then. I'm so used to her stories telling me about how guys ask her out for a date, give her their phone number etc etc. Mia is probably just bestowed with some unique attraction qualities or i should say she has a force of attraction within herself that automatically without any of her efforts attracts guys towards him, I suppose.

Mia kept on telling me in detail about how her trip was and i kept on listening. We got so indulged in our conversation that we didn't even realise how much time has passed until when mom called us downstairs for dinner......
