'I'm so sick of being Mia's younger, totally less-fabulous sister,' I blurted.u 'I just wish people would notice me, for being me, y'know? Like i wished they would talk to me and be with me for being me and not because i'm Mia's sister!' Onc I started I couldnt stop.

I explained what Miss Ricci and the boys at school had said and how it's been that way for basically a whole lot of forever.

Aimee and Clair exchanged glances.

'The truth is, I wouldn't want to be in your place either,' Aimee sympathised.

Oh, now that wasn't the response I was expecting.

'Yeah as sweet as Mia is, I'd hate it if she was my older sister!' laughed Clair.

Just hearing my friends say that and knowing they got me, like, truely got me, made me feel so much better, i breathed a sigh of relief.
'Ooh, you guys just dont know. You guys just dont have any idea of how i feel right now after sharing my feelings with you both. I feel so relieved and much much better than i was feeling a while ago!' I said.

'Why dont we put together a plan of action?' Aimee suggested.

'What kind of a plan?' I asked, a little intrigued.
'A plan, Nau Nau, that will whisk you out from Mia's shadow and into your own super-shiny spotlight of fabulousness!'

I high-fived Aimee with a smile on my face, as that was definitely a plan I liked the sound of.

Now, I didn't want to be a giant cliché and embrace the opposite of everything Mia represented just to establish my own identity, like becoming a circus freak or something really extreme.

I realised I had to distinguish myself in some other way. As popularas she was, Mia was always a good girl: home when she said she would, didn't find with our parents, handed in her homework on time- yada, yada. I on the other hand was more of a wild child, a bit more daring, infact, if one of those psychological people were to do their psycho-analytical craziness on me, I'm sure they'd say it was because I was seeking attention or something.

'That's it, I've got it!' I declared, jumping to my feet.
'What you got?' Clair asked looking at me with confusion.

'My ticket to stardom, that's what!'

'Oohh, a project!' Squealed Aimee, 'I love a project!'

'Good!' I said, smiling, 'because I'm going to need your help!'
