1:56 AM...
"Dance you bastards. Dance."
"Damn it all! Stop him!"
"He's just killed Arthur and Aramyeta!"
"He's a monster!"
"OH GOD!"
"OH DEAR GOD!!!! NO!!!!"
"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!"
BANG!!!!
18 hours earlier, around 7:56 AM at the Bounty House...
"Where did he go?" asked Violet.
"I'm sorry, Miss," replied the male clerk apologetically. "I really wouldn't know."
Violet's shoulders slumped. She didn't know any other place Leon would go. Madeline already felt worried to her stomach about her Dad's safety. He didn't return to the hospital last night. So, the following morning she asked Violet to search for him. In fairness, Violet felt worried too for Leon. Who knows what could happen to him? So, here she was at the Bounty house actively searching for him.
Violet left the front desk, disappointed at the fruits of her labor. She walked slowly. This was also the first day she had no reliance on crutches. Her movements felt slow, but she didn't let that stop her.
'Ow...ouch. I'll...ow...get used to walking again,' she thought.
Violet was just about to go out the door when suddenly...
"Violet?" a voice called from behind.
Violet turned around.
A young lady in the Bounty House Uniform. She smiled at Violet.
"Hey, Violet."
"Mia?"
"Yup. It's me," she said gleefully as she struck a pose.
"Hehehe...good to see you, Mia."
"Violet, I haven't paid you back for saving me last time from those nasty Jacks," she said bashfully.
