"Leon, what happened to you?" she asked, completely shocked.
"Get out of here, Violet. I'm gonna kill that son of a bitch and you can't stop me. I'm gonna kill that King!"
Leon pointed towards the stairs as he said this. He just needed to climb the stairs, go straight, and decapitate that psycho.
"Leon, please don't go down this road. I've been down there and it was so painful to come back from it."
"I'M BEHEADING THAT BASTARD, RIGHT NOW. FOR MADDIE..." he said, completely determined.
"YOU NEED TO STOP!!!! LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE!!!!" she screamed trying to open his eyes to the carnage he'd created.
Burned bodies filled the damaged Main Hallway. Black charred corpses. All dead.
"You ain't stopping me, Vi."
He turned away from her and started for the stairs, but...
BANG!!!!
Leon felt a bullet whiz past his head. It hit the staircase in front of him. A few more inches and there would have been a hole in his eye socket.
Violet had pulled the trigger of her revolver.
"No more, Leon. NO MORE KILLING."
Her crystal blue eyes met his blood-shot red ones. Leon could tell that even without words, she's begging him to come home.
"Come home. We wrote a letter for you. We need Leon back. Not The Blood Hunter. I need the Leon who take care of me. The one who saved me. I need that guy. Not whoever this monster is. Please..." she pleaded.
She held out in her hand a white envelope. A letter for him to bring him back.
"Maddie needs you. And..." she paused. "...I need you."
Leon eyes lost their redness a little. He was being drawn back. Until...
CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!
Clapping sounds came from just up the stairs.
"You were taking too long," a voice suddenly spoke.
Leon turned towards the voice.
"Beckard...you bastard."
The King had arrived with two bodyguards at his side. No jacket this time. Just a crumpled suit with a messy tie and his signature gas mask over his face. He had two empty holsters strapped to his hips and a double-pump shotgun. He pulled the shotgun out and held it in his hand playfully.
"Looks like The Blood Hunter didn't hide his stash well," he mocked displaying the shotgun. "My boys found your stash in the sewer. We disposed of your bag. No more guns and ammo for you. Don't worry. You won't need guns in Hell."
Under his mask, Beckard smiled.
Leon clenched his teeth.
"I guess you want to hurt me for your daughter, right?" he asked calmly.
