With minimum wages, taxes, etc. the book prices I found outrageous. I paid a few checks to get this done and with taking a major royalties cut, I got the paperback down to $15.99 instead of $19.99. I only make $1 off every sale vs $1.98 from every E-Book. But this is my first and I did the best for my followers. Again thank you everyone. You made this possible. You were clonked out from the night before. It was paperwork, it was pacts, and then it was just wanting to sleep in just a little. Not until noon or anything and skip breakfast and such, but just enough to recover and be your best tomorrow. It sounds all dreamy and perfect. But there was one problem. The fact she was referred to problem. That's a first.
"Wake up." Someone giggled.
"Meh." Eyes still closed as you flip over.
"Gaius come on." Irina gigged.
"Why more hyper than usual?" You groaned.
"Did you forget our private beach day?" She asked.
"Today? Oh sh- WOW! Oh wow."
A little smirk. "Getting better. Come on you." Leaned over for small kiss on the cheek. "I'll pack up before we go to the island."
"Wow. The moment when you're so overworked you forget the exact day your one day getaway trip is." You mumble.
"Hubby." Called Irina.
"Yeah..." You stretch.
"If you're not out of bed this instance I won't wear my bikini for you." Wow that was a threat. She meant it too probably. Why would she of all people lie?
You roll over and hit the floor. Catching your fall with your hands and hip and rolling to lay on your back. "Done. Wee moment."
She just laughed. "That did the trick."
"Especially since you don't wear them often." You called from the floor.
"That's because my indecency is only for my one lover and that is my husband. My assets are for you only and for no one else. I am an Angel you know."
"And an elegant lady at that who's sweet and not snobby."
"Ladies are snobby?" She pondered while going through clothes.
You finally get to your feet and talk to her normally. "Well do you think the beach that Lord Micheal is letting us go to for the day is crowded?"
"Actually Gaius, just the opposite. Lord Micheal told me he isn't giving anyone else the approval to go. It's reserved for us. So yeah it's just us."
You sighed happily. "Blue ocean. Oh baby." Now to get out of your daze. "Okay time to put on pants."
"It's the beach Dear."
"Shorts. Must find shorts. Alright Angel let's go for it."

It was here. Irina was able to portal you to the destination. This beach was epic. Blue where you can basically see through, colorful fish, the slightest breeze, and temperature that was perfect for anything. You wouldn't get burned yet the water not cold at all. This was basically tropical.
"We're here!" Your wife chimed.
"So we are."
"And can't wait to show them all the photos from our day getaway."
"Yup. Glad to be pact and Fallen Angel free for a bit. I mean what's my wife and I here like? It's like a anime with a beach episode."
"What was that?"
"A grand time Irina. One of the best times I will ever have." You lay out the beach blanket and pitch the umbrella firmly. "Alright."
"Well we got everything. We don't have to worry about anything. Want to hit the water?"
"Put the camera down. You'll get wet. Don't worry. It won't be suplex wet."
"You would suplex your wife..." She was nervous now. She had never been that kind of physical with you.
"Only if you're bad. Let's go."
"Hey hold on." She called taking off her glasses and removing her shirt so she can just get in the water.
You on the other hand were full speed ahead and ready to go. It had been sometime since you had been to the beach. Father Yuki bad church member fund raiser to bring them all down. You got yourself plenty of sun, played volleyball, swam, and watched the surfers over the early beach dinner. That was three years ago. Now here as you run from the whitish yellow sand you are a man here with your wife. Up to your knees in water and ludging forward to take a splat.
Wow. This is even better than how I remember it.
Irina was running to the water. "Hey. Wait up." Chasing the area with the air bubbles.
You are sinking to the bottom in about four feet of ocean. This is the life. I can't believe I forgot what this water feels like. This is paradise. You get to your feet and stand up. Wait for the water to run off your head and breath in delight. "My love, how are you?" A wide smile for you.
Irina just smiled and laughed on her way towards you. Wrapped you with a hug. "Salty. Hehe. Just kidding. I'm perfect. Us and the best beach someone can dream about." She kissed you and sighed in happiness.
"So how's about some water, ice cream, and sun bathing before some good seafood?"
"Sounds good. I love you."
"I love you too."

I hate to say it but my favorite story that I wrote will not get a sequel. I feel I'm just okay at them and plot isn't all there for it. Too many flaws. Regardless my favorite swordsman couple outside Stella and Ikki are Irina and Gaius.
