Chapter 5~ Lunch

{Stephen's POV}

I stared at my watch as it came up to the last two minutes of English with Mr. Jarvis. "Thank you class, you may now pack up." The rustle of bags, pens and books were heard as the class put everything away. The bell rang and everyone raced through the door.

"Oh my god, i love Mr. Jarvis. Well, not like that, but. Yeah." Tony said making me smile. "Ugh why don't you two get a room already." Sam said. Tony stuck his tongue out and Sam rolled his eyes before grabbing T'Challa's waist and winking back to us. Okay, i have no idea what that was.

"Well..." I said before looking at Tony who seemed just as confused. "Welp..." he replied. We heard shouting from down the corridor, we both turned around to glimpse Bucky with Steve on his back whilst racing down the hall screaming "LUNCH!!- UgH" Tony and I started laughing as Bucky tripped sending them both hurtling towards the ground.

"BOYS!! My office N O W!" Director Fury said after appearing from seemingly nowhere. Steve and Bucky both bowed their heads and trudged into the office. We watched as Director Fury's cat Goose tip toed out of the office... Guess he didn't want to be present for the deaths of two students either.

{Tony's POV}

We both walked into the lunch hall and sat down with Nat, Bruce, Thor and Loki on the only table without any graffiti or chewing gum. Nat scared everyone, hence the good table.

"Hey guys" i said waving slightly and i sat down next to Stephen. Loki was curled up next to the wall on his phone, Thor was attempting to get his brother's attention and Bruce was quietly reading. Nat was flipping a pocket knife open and closed whilst looking around for the rest of the group.

There was a loud thud and we all looked to the end of the table, Clint was splayed out over the end of the table, he was clutching his side, groaning. "Did you jump from the rafters again?" Nat asked and Clint nodded. "Crackhead energy" Stephen whispered into my ear making me laugh. Pietro and Wanda sat down next. They both just stared at Clint, shaking their heads.

"We've been over this before, you are not a bird." Pietro said to Clint who just groaned. "Mortals." Loki muttered under his breath. About halfway through lunch, Bucky and Steve walked in and sat down quietly. "WHY SO SOLEMN MY MIDGUARDIAN FRIENDS?!" Thor boomed, "They've just had their asses handed to them by Fury." I said and Steve gave me a 'please don't say anymore' look. Thor's face had gone from a bright and smiley face to a confused one. He stood up and walked behind Steve lifting him up before doing the same to Bucky.

"What exactly are you doing?" Bucky asked, confused. "I DO NOT UNDERSTAND! YOUR ASSES ARE STILL CONNECTED TO YOUR MORTAL BODIES, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO REMOVE IT AND HAND IT TO SOMEONE!" Thor shouted sitting back down after violating Bucky and Steve.

"Thor no." Bruce said quietly. I looked at Stephen who was trying his hardest not to laugh. "Please excuse me everyone." He said so calmly before leaving in the direction of the toilets. "What's up with him?" Nat asked, "Not sure, i'll go check on him." I said standing up and leaving the table.

{Nat's POV}

I watched as Tony left and i immediately turned to the others. "So, what do we think?" I asked "Think of what?" Steve asked, "Tony and Stephen." I said and Steve looked confused. "Never mind, don't answer. Anyone else who understands what i mean, same question." "I BELIEVE I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU MEAN. SON OF STARK IS NICE BUT I AM UNSURE OF HIS NICKNAME FOR ME. HE CALLS ME 'THUNDA FROM DOWN UNDA' AND I DO NOT UNDERSTAND, DOWN UNDER WHERE? I MEAN W-" Bruce stopped Thor before he could say anything else. "Thor, inside voices and what she means is their relationship, not who they are." Thor frowned "Sorry Bruce". Clint leant over to me and said quietly "Still don't know how he does it." Before sitting back up.

"They're banging." Loki said very unexpectedly making Bucky spit out his drink all over Steve. "Thanks Buck." Steve said unimpressed. "They've been gone for a while." Wanda said and Pietro nodded. "I'll go check on them." Clint said and stood up before anyone could stop him, Pietro followed him after saying "Better go with him, make sure he doesn't do anything stupid." They both left the hall.

"Really brother, so ludicrous." Thor said in response to Loki's earlier comment. The kid by the name of "grandmaster" came over to the table and sat down next to Loki. He whispered something into his ear and caused Loki to blush.

A short while later, Clint, Pietro, Stephen and a slightly redder Tony sat back down at the table. "Well well well, fancy seeing you two back here again." I said grinning. Before anyone could ask anything, the bell rang and everyone got up to leave. "We will not speak of this again." Tony said to me and i chuckled "Oh, we will." Tony sighed and trudged to lesson.

Rewind time!

{Stephen's POV}

I walked into the toilets, checked that no one was in there and started to laugh more than i ever have before. Suddenly, the door swung open shocking me. It was only Tony. "Hey." He said, "Hey." I replied before laughing again, Tony started to laugh too. "Thor is hilarious." I said inbetween laughs and he nodded. We both calmed down before standing in silence, "Thank you." I said and he looked up at me, "What for?" He asked with a confused look on his face, like a little puppy. "Introducing me to everyone, including me, being you." I said and he blushed a little at the last one. "Don't mention it." He said in an attempt to be cool about it making me grin, "what?" He asked "you." I said making his cool facade slip away. "What about me, did i do something wrong, have i got something on my face?" He asked checking the mirror.

I stopped him and turned him to me, "you, you're amazing. Your soul is gorgeous and you are such and incredible and handsome person." I stopped blushing, that handsome part just sort of slipped out. We stared into each others eyes for a while, we were leaning closer and closer to each other. Time was going so slowly, i could feel every beat my heart made against my chest. Our heads were now together still leaning more towards each other.

{Tony's POV}

I could feel Stephen's breath on my face, our lips came closer together before

BANG!

The door swung open causing me to scream ans jump into Stephen's arms. He looked down at me as i looked up at him before we both looked to the door. Clint and Pietro for fucks sake. "LOKI WAS RIGHT!" Clint yelled, "right about what?" i thought. I realised that Stephen was still holding me, i shuffled a little so that he'd put me back down.

"FuCk OfF cLiNt!" I shouted and he laughed. "Come on you two." He said and closed the door over. I felt something on my cheek and looked around to Stephen who smiled before kissing my nose, we came very close to each other's lips again before Clint opened the door again forcing us to leave.

"You are such a dick." I said to Clint on our way back. "I know." He said cackling.

We all walked back to the others. "Well well well, fancy seeing you two back here again." Nat said. Luckily, the bell rang before any more comments were made. "We will never speak of this again." I said to Nat as we left the hall, "Oh we will." She replied. I sighed before going to engineering with Rhodes and Pepper.
