Chapter 5 ~ Attack On Bird Island

At night in Mighty Eagle's mountain, the birds and the pigs are having a secret meeting. Leonard and Red are in front of everyone with the screen behind them. Y/N was sitting right next to her dad as she listened.

"Each of you has been selected because you're the best in your field." Leonard said holding the bamboo stick.

"Oh." everyone smiled except you.

"...that we could find."

"Oh.."

"Tch. Whatever.." you muttered rolling your eyes.

"Your skills will be put to the test facing...this!"

Leonard pointed the picture of the icy volcano.

"As you can clearly this is a vol-"

"Volcano! Volcano is what my 'assistant' was going to say." Red cut him off taking the stick away tapping Leonard's belly.

"Assistant?! You're the assistant!" Leonard argued trying to the stick back as they did the tug of war.

"No, no, no, no! I'm the leader!"

"I'm doing this to impress my Y/N! My blueberry!"

"You mean MY Y/N! MY blueberry!!"

Y/N groaned covering her face with her feathered hands. She was so embarrassed that they are fighting for her again like last time. Thankfully, Silver stopped them.

"Actually! It's a height and the clearly apparent vent clusters."

"Wow." you awed.

"Okay. Forget I said 'volcano.' This is uh it's a super weapon!" Red declared.

"Weird. It looks just like a volcano." Bomb commented.

"Yep. And here's a scary part. This is their psychotic leader!" Leonard exclaimed pointing at something that was not meant to be shown.

The picture of him doing the pose with a smoochy look.... Everyone cringed at the embarrassing picture.

"Oh! Heh. H-How did that get there?" he nervously laughed.

Leonard tried to go to the next slide, but it showed even more embarrassing and cringy pictures of himself in his costume and weird poses. Y/N had to look away from that frowning for his disgrace behavior. Leonard turned red knowing he had embarrassed himself in front of his love.

"Courtney!!"

"I mean you took them." she pointed out clicking onto the next slide again.

Red cleared his throat to get their attention after taking the stick away from Leonard as he look down, all red.

"This is their psychotic leader!"

The picture showed Zeta with her sunglasses on top of her forehead.
Mighty Eagle started to get uncomfortable staring into her icy green eyes. He whimpered and looked closer and closer into her eyes that are staring at him right through his soul. He couldn't take it once he was already close to her eyes and screamed. Everyone looked at him in full concern.

"Dad? Are you okay?" Y/N asked patting his shoulder as he covered his head in fear.

"Whoa, whoa. Hey, buddy. Do you know her?" Red curiously asked.

"Yeah, it's like you're scared of her. Care to explain?" she added.

"What? Me? No, no! Definitely not! Absolutely not! Never seen her before in my life. Who is that? I don't know!"

Mighty Eagle then fake smiled in the end.

"Dad..." you facepalmed.

"Not terribly convincing, but, uh, moving on." Red said pushing Leonard out of the way.
