Character A moves to a new place. It's a little difficult for them to get used to it. One day, they decide to calm down a bit by buying their favorite stuff at a store. Since it's very late, their only option is a convenience store (a 24/7 store). And there is where they meet Character B, the only worker at that hour.
Character A now has an objective: knowing more about the employee, since it's the only interesting thing to do in town.

Yeah, so, this actually was an idea for a short fanfic.
Also, Character A will have to stay up a lot at night since Character B only works past midnight or something.
Note: Most of the plot ideas here seem to only focus on two people (like this one) but there can be other characters involved (like friends or family).
